If Manning does indeed end up in NY I sure hope Roy Williams or heck even Lavar Arrington for that matter really unload on him.

There is nothing worse than being a baby like Eli.

Lets see here...Live in San Diego, have millions of dollars, #1 Draft pick overall, LaDanian Tomlinson in the backfield. Yeah, I guess life really stinks.

Eli needs a good old fashioned NFC East welcome.

Ha, LOL

Eli is a baby. If the Skins get Taylor, Eli can look forward to getting hit by Roy, Dawkins, and Taylor 6 times a year!

If they rip A-rod , they will for sure rip Eli. I hope he gets what he wants and even more . It's not like the giants are a great team. I'd rather go to the fun in the sun chargers.

I hope the giants get eli and that he turns into a bigger bust than Leaf.
nothing personal to Eli, but it would set the giants back 3 or 4 years.

well, 6 games a year...maybe 4 or 5 times a game....that's 30+ of the worst hits you could take.

Eli wanting to go to the Giants makes no sense, NY's OL is just as bad as SD's, NY doesn't have the best RB in the league, NY is in a pretty strong defensive division while the AFC West may be the weakest, NY has possibly the harshest media in the nation, and it's San Diego for God's sake. Maybe he's just scared that Schottenheimer will focus on running the ball with LT instead of catering to Eli's needs or he'll get more endorsements in a high profile city, who knows, but I think it's ridiculous.

I think it has more to do with the orginzation itself. Archie spent nearly his entire career with the sad sack saints and he doesn't want his son spending his career with an organization that seems to be in disarray. It is obvious that he is going to end up with one of the weaker teams in theh league but I beleive that he just wants him to go to a team that will be able to turn things around.

The Colts were never a premier franchise and Peyton was able to turn them around, if Eli is just as good what does it matter what team he goes to?

This will all blow over for Eli just as it did for Elway when he refused to play for the Colts despite the fact he was drafted by the Colts.

yup... that part is confusing to me... even though SD has bad O-lines... he will benefit BIG time from Tomlinson... i dont understand....

That is what I've been thinking, the colts were horrible and Peyton turned them around. Eli will regret this.

What a beautiful thing. How crazy will that be, by the way, having the three best safeties in the league all in the same division? Poor Eli will end up in an institution via the school of hard knocks.

I'd love to have Roy Williams miked up for the game in which he plasters Manning and listen to the trash talk: "You should've gone to San Diego, boy!"
"I bet the beach is looking real good now, huh?"

:D

The flip side of that coin is Archie's experience as a Saint.

Nevertheless, I really don't consider the Chargers to be a "no-hope" franchise like perhaps the Cardinals.

The Chargers management may not be the cream of the crop but I don't think they're THAT bad are they?

What I hate about this Manning fiasco is now SD may rethink that offer from the Skins. You know the one with Samuels and their first, etc?

I have a sinking sensation Snyder gets the first pick out of this and gets Gallery.

I hope good ole Eli-zabeotch goes to the Giants as well. The kid is going to realize very soon that he shoulda just went to the Chargers. If he were the "real deal" he woulda jumped at the chance to go to a team that was in the basement. Lead them back to contention and recieved praise from around the league.

I don't blame him...I wouldn't wanna play for the the Chargers either.
