The field looks horrible, they are making gouges in it just running around.

London is prolly the only place where Miami has a homefield advantage. Did y'all see all those Fins jerseys?

Yeah, they're everywhere.

Feely missed the field goal. They get absolutely nothing out of such a good drive. Ugh.

TheCount

Hahaha, they are actually booing the Giants. That's great.

Actually it sounds like there are a good number of Giant fans there too. I mean they picked the two coast cities most often visited by people from England, so I guess that was a good decision.

did you see the singer mess up the national anthem? IF that would have happend here we would have been talked about in the world press.

TheCount
10-28-2007, 12:19 PM
Hahaha, Channing Crowder made the tackle and you here one guy go, "Boo!" when they announced his name on the loud speaker.

The Giants are marching, I don't think this game will even be close.

sacase

wow BS Personal Foul call.

TheCount
10-28-2007, 12:22 PM
Wow, Eli over did two attempts at the endzone, would have been easy TD's with good throws, so the Giants only get a field goal.

TheCount
10-28-2007, 12:32 PM
What the hell are the Dolphins doing trying to get cute? They motion Marty Booker in to take the snap from center and sneak it, of course he fumbles it, turnover. Those idiots.

cowboyz
10-28-2007, 12:32 PM
miami fumbles the snap because they decide to have marty booker take the snap from under center on a short yardage :bang2:

I think I would like to see 17 week schedule and one game a week played in London. I think it would be rather exciting especially if the NFL can get the foreign broadcasters more into the pregame show. I think they would bring something different and new for American fans and the English get to see football all the time with new teams coming everyweek.

Avery

The Dolphins should trade their first overall pick for as many high picks as they can - what a mess.

I'm guessing we're getting the Det. - Chi. game because of Roy Williams??

Yeah, probably Roy Williams, Cedric Benson, and Vasher. I go to UT but I couldn't care less about how all these ex-longhorns do in the NFL. If the Cowboys aren't playing, I just want to see the best possible game.

NFL has got to get off their *** and get their priorities straight. I say we as fans start a stike and refuse to watch the games until they sort out their problems with exclusive broadcasting and acknowledge that this is Americas Game.

And if Jerry Jones ever agrees to host a Dallas game over seas, I say we remind him that it's Americas Team, and protest at the doors of Texas stadium.

Like any of that will actually happen. But wouldn't it be the right thing to do? :laugh2:

The big teams on Europe are the teams that did well in the 80's and early 90's when we first got NFL games on TV here. The Giants, Dolphins, Skins, Bills and Cowboys are huge in Europe

what are you talking about? The fact that Giants/Dolphins isn't being shown in Austin has nothing to do with the fact football is America's game.

All of America should be able to watch every game broadcast. Too many Cowboys Fans are left hanging high and dry on gameday every week, when the game isn't broadcast in their region of the country etc..

Americas game should be watched by all of America.

Instead, they are concerned about Europe?

I dunno why the NFL picked the Gints/Fins of all teams to showcase the NFL in Europe. This game typifies the mediocrity/badness of most NFL teams.

The giants are getting lucky against the injury ridden dolphins, they are far from dominating. I would like to see more games in london. But they need to get the field right.

These refs are gettign stupid with the flags. The must have issues with their pay or popularity. Cause they must feel they do not get enough air time.

TheCount
10-28-2007, 03:16 PM
Yeah, they barely beat the Dolphins and Eli had a monumental 59 yards passing and connected on an impressive 36% of his passes.

The only thing they had going for them was the fact that the Dolphins suck and the Brandon Jacobs is a load.

This is a Capitalist society. No one is entitled to anything for free. Who pays so you can get all games for free?

You have a choice, Direct TV gets me every game at a modest price. And these $ pay the players and owners. This is a business, not a communal society.

I know. The announcers were trying to convince the television viewers that it was still packed, and that no one was leaving...which was clearly not the case. They blatantly lied to the television viewers.

I watched most of this game. I really wanted it to be good to impress the Brits and others about the game we all love. Also hoped the Dolphins would actually play like an NFL team and possibly win. Should have known better.

This was a boring, boring game and the score of 13-10 is a testament to that. If the NFL and the owners want this to succeed overseas, they need to select better teams.

Frankly I don't think American football will make it in England. The Brits are too involved in soccer and rugby to have time for American football. The Germans on the other hand have only soccer. While the NFL league in Europe was going down the tube, at least 2-3 teams in Germany were drawing pretty good. The Germans loved American football & I think would be much more receptive to a game or 2 each year. Having said that, I'm not really keen in NFL going overseas unless it is voluntary. Realize several NFL teams need boost their fan base but if Jerry Jones doesn't think it necessary for the Cowboys then we shouldn't have to do it.
