I hate them. I am glad they punk'd the Skins, but I feel they are trying to prove a mute point (that they cheated to get where they are). There play the last 2 weeks has been ego-maniacal because of said accusation. I NEVER wish injuries on players, but would anyone feel sympathetic if say Brady went down, late in a game with a huge lead? I would call it Karma.....

I would call it petty jealousy. And it's moot point, genius.

I don't care at all that the Pats might have driven up the score against the Skins. I wanted the Pats to beat the Skins at least 45-0 and 52-7 is more then acceptable. You can beat no Redskin fan will come trolling in our forums talking smack. In fact their ExtremeSkin forum doesn't say more then 1-2 comments about the game. Cause they are in shellshock.
I hate the Pats but hate the Skins more. I'm sure later in the week Skin fans will provide "proof" that Pats bribed the refs or some such thing.

All I have to say is that this team is scary good regardless of what anyone says.
And if you want to be the best, you must beat the best, so hopefully we will get a chance to beat them in the Super Bowl. And I want them to be 100% healthy when it happens.

If we were winning games by the exact same margins using the exact same methods, you wouldn't hear a peep out of anyone here. Phony outrage is very amusing.

I do.....During the Rams game I told my wife I think we should call off the dogs. At the time, we were not playing for playoff position, so there was no reason to keep scoring with the game firmly in hand. Evidently, Coach Phillips felt the same way, as he put in Johnson and he/Garrett never called another pass play. Rmember, this is a union, at at the end of the day, everybody is on the same team

This is true.
But flip that around.
If the Pats were on the other side of the beatdown, you could imagine how they would be crying.

I don't think folks are more mad at NE. I think we all argree that we REALLY loved the Skins getting spanked huge.
Saying that.
There is a common courtesy between teams to let up and not embarrass the other so badly if they can keep from it.
At least that is what I have always seen watching the NFL for the past 35 years of my life.
That is - until BB wanted to show just how dominant they are w/o spygate involved.
Whatever. They guy wants to be hated and held in that regard? That's on him. I drive just fine in traffic. My karma is intact.

we would complain if wade kept our starting players in until the end when the game was out of reach...week after week...because definitely someone's gonna get hurt.
i don't mind if our second string players were put in after the game was out of reach and the opponents couldn't stop them from scoring even more.

Today is not the first time this has happened. They've let it be known that they will never take their foot off the pedal (retaliation for Cheatgate?), so the weekly complaining will achieve little. And they can always say that the opposing team never stopped trying to score, so...

Wasn't meaning you were not happy. I am talking about the fan board as a whole.
No matter what someone will complain about something. You have been around long enough to see it.
On a slightly related note about the pats running up the score. I believe karma will catch up to them one day.
Funny thing is I remember a certain redskins team with a certain coach spurrier running the score up before.

Actually, quite a few people were miffed that you tried to tell them how to emote. And how many infractions did you give yourself for "PITA"? Certainly that's cryptic swearing. Welcome to the kangaroo court, gents.

The Pats have been running up the score all year. It's classless in Little League and it's classless in the pros.
Maybe a team should have pride to stop them. Its sad when teams keep giving up 40 on average or as we and Skins did, 50 spots.
This is pro football. Early this season when Garret was doing it it was called killer instinct for us. Fact is - for years we complained Parcells did not have it.
Patriots are now America's team, taking all the flack we did decades ago.
