1)Jason Cambell's numbers not much better than ... (can I have a drum roll here) Quincy Carter!!!
2)Yearning for the glory days of QB Patrick Ramsey!!!
3)Portis is done. Get SD's RB Turner next year.
4)Aikman hates the skins and Aikman is jealous of Romo.
5)The skins are 0-3 when Aikman announces their games and 4-0 without Aikman as an announcer. (I hope Aikman will announce both skins/cowboy games).
6)7 games into the season and not one TD pass to a WR!
7)"The end is near", "Rebuild", and lots of draft talk. Oh, and fire every coach.
8)One skin fan even was happy that CB Carlos Rogers suffered a serious knee injury because ...(drum roll please) now Fred Smoot will get more playing time.
The same Fred Smoot who couldn't bench 200 lbs and was max toasted by Antonio Bryant every game?

There is some hilarious stuff over there at extreme skins.

If only that would have been a home game for the skin fans, so all the homers could have seen it in person. Funny, but I diddn't see any pictures of Lil Danny Snyderbrenner in his box. Did I miss it?

They're saying the last 3 minutes of the game is somehow indicative of the potential of their "offense"? I have no problem with being a homer, but that's superhero homer right there.

Draft talk? The Skins don't draft. They trade picks for over-rated, over-priced, under-performing veterans.

I believe this poster has summed up every homer ES post in the past five years:

- The coaching is not a problem. Gibbs has the rings to prove it and clearly this coaching staff is doing a fantastic job.

- The front office has made so many good decisions and the press just likes to talk about the few bad ones. We have a great owner that we should be thankful for because he likes to spend money for us. Joe Gibbs is an amazing GM and we must trust him.

- We draft very well there is nothing wrong with how we use draft picks. We get great playes in the first round and who cares about the rest, free agents are PROVEN while the draft is really just a crap shoot.

- Our players are the greatest! I don't see why ESPN and those mediots can't see that our defense is amazing and that Jason Campbell is a top 10 QB in this league. They just hate our team. Portis is amazing too... easily a top 3 running back in this league. The media just hates because he's a redkin.

We've been so incredibly unlucky with Campbell and Portis missing preseason, Jansen and Thomas going down, Santana and Springs Washington and Rabach missing time, and now Carlos and Rocky are out. EVERYTHING IS GREAT! We lose because the refs make bad calls, the teams we play are just incredible and totally underrated by the mediots, and because certain players simply had a bad game becaus the stars and the moon were in perfect lines in the sky and they are still top 3 at their positions.

Dave I understand your point, but it's hard to resist enjoying seeing the skins fans wallow in misery. I don't spend time there, but ES has a reputation of unmatched blind homerism. When reality (in the form of a dominant NE team) smacks them, it is OK for Cowboy fans to take a few moments of glee at their expense. They did much the same when we were visited by the Patriots. While our game with the "measuring-stick" Patriots had some hopeful moments, the skins game was pretty much an unmitigated downer.

I'm on the Eagles but I enjoyed the skins "moment in the shadow." ;)

oh trust me, anytime the Blowskins implode makes me happy
