This kid might be something special, since we have our Franchise QB we can take him to develop, behind Romo, and down the road if anything ever happens to him (god forbid) we have our insurance.
In case anyone was wondering he is 6'3" 200lbs right now. Div 1AA QB playing for San Diego Torreros.
has very good accuracy, good arm strength, VERY smart, great at reading defenses, was tutored by Harbaugh, and has very good running ability.
He may go as high as the 3rd round, thats too high for a kid that can't play for 3 years (weight = 198) - jmo
interesting prospect though. I'd be looking for him late day 2 if he drops like Romo did.

10/22/07 - Pioneer Week 8 Offensive Player of the Week: QB Josh Johnson needed only one half to post this week’s impressive numbers in a 62-23 PFL victory against Jacksonville, Saturday. He completed 17-of-22 passes for 249 yards and five touchdowns. Johnson added seven carries for 55 yards and touchdown. The Toreros finished the first half with 380 yards total offense and Johnson was responsible for 304 yards of that total. 10/21/07 - Josh Johnson threw for five touchdowns and ran for another to lead San Diego to a 62-23 win over Jacksonville on Saturday night. Johnson only played the first half as the Toreros (7-0, 4-0 Pioneer Football League) won their 23rd consecutive home game. San Diego scored touchdowns on all eight possessions in the first half for a 56-14 halftime lead. The Toreros, two-time defending PFL champions, have won 34 of 36 games and 19 straight conference games. JT Rogan scored three times, first on a 3-yard pass from Johnson, and on runs of 15 and 13 yards. Rogan rushed for 115 yards on 19 carries. Johnson accounted for 304 of San Diego's 380 yards of total offense in the first half. Johnson, who scored on a 12-yard run, completed 17 of 22 passes for 249 yards. In addition to his TD pass to Rogan, his other scoring throws covered 45, 9, 15 and 18 yards. 10/16/07 - Senior QB Josh Johnson (Oakland, CA; Oakland Tech HS) has accepted an invitation to play in the 2008 East-West Shrine game on January 18th. The college all-star game that features seniors from across the country, will be played at the University of Houston's John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium in Houston, Texas. "We are excited that our senior quarterback Josh Johnson will be given the opportunity to play in the East-West Shrine game," said USD head coach Ron Caragher. "Playing in a post-season all-star game of this magnitude will give him an additional opportunity to showcase his many talents and skills." Johnson, a Payton Watch candidate for the second straight year, currently leads all FCS players in total offense (398.6 yards), passing efficiency (222.1 rating) and points responsible for (28.8 points per game). This season he has completed 107-143 passes (74.8%) for 1,603 yards, 23 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. He is now 27-2 as a starter dating back to the beginning of the 2005 campaign.
