I can't recall the last time the Eagles looked that flat at home. Especially the defense. No emotion and no sense of irgency. Weird, but I'll take it.

Yhea, I was thinking the same thing - they just were so flat.
Maybe the Reid thing is weighing on them?

Give our OL credit for that.;)

But let me add that I think this Eagles loss puts the nail in the coffin for them this season . . . . I don't see them recovering this year.

Well, I think the Dallas offensive line whipping their butts may have had something to make them "disinterested".. and then when they tried the famous Jimmy Johnson blitzes, they were burned by Romo & Co.

yeah, I think our team had more to do with it than anything...they knew they were beat by the end of the first half

Nah, they just aren't very good and having McFlabb fumble on the first play didn't help the situation.

Its the same look cowboys had when they were not good against Eagles. Which means, now they know who is the king the hill, at least this year or at the very least this game.

And Romo punishing them for blitzing. But I agree, the OL was outstanding.

they played like we did for years against overmatched eagle teams (the dreaded BR - before romo- dark era of cowboy history)
the sack/fumble/TD pretty much winded the eagles, who had no chance if we play a solid game.

I think the two best teams in the NFC are the Cowboys followed by the Giants.
When we get Glenn back, I think our offense can take on an added dimension.

Westbrook the only one showing heart out there.

Thier D looked disinterested because they had absolutely no answer for Romo and company. You could see their frustration setting in during the second half.

getting your teeth kicked in, in all facets of the game will do that.
Ramsey should be suspended for a month for that hit on Julius Jones, that was the ultimate cheap shot.
I hope it gets worse for them. Now the city not only wants mcnabb replaced but now reid....and in a few weeks they will want Jim Johnson removed too.
I love it. I loved the playcall to throw the fade. I wish newman would have caught that pick and gone the other way with it.
by the way that fade was us sending a message and looking to run it up, and after everything they have said and done to us for the past 8 years, we should have continued to throw the ball and scored.
what a great night.
what a big one next week.'

I have to agree. I thought they'd come out like gangbusters, but they came out looking sloppy and disinterested.

The Dallas offensive line had a huge role in them looking flat... Philly always feeds off of their defense.

I think the Packers are just behind the Giants, IMO.
If we can get a deep threat opposite TO, I really believe we can go to the Super Bowl this year and that our offense will be nearly unstoppable.

The Eagles window of opportunity was shrinking every week this year. The Cowboys shut that window tonight. The McNabb/Reid era is probably over now. Kolb will be the QB sometime during this year. Reid will try to be a father to his 3 other children next year. The Eagles had a nice run but came up short too many times. Sort of like Danny White. Close but no cigar. Cowboy fans may have hated McNabb as an opposing player, but McNabb seemed like a really decent guy.

Insert joke about Jim Johnsons defensive game plan being smuggled into prison in Britt Reid's Butt......

There is talk on WIP of Reid stepping down.

I think Madden summed it best. The didn't just lose, they had no "Yeah but..."
Nothing looked good tonight and I wonder if this was the beginning of the end for McNabb in Philly.
Now, Reid's statement that McNabb shouldn't be worried about his job security just seems silly.

By the time we play the Packers, we should have Glenn back. No way the rastafarian and washed up Woodson can cover them.

What's so amazing about the beat down is that we didn't use any other receivers but TO.

I gave in and I am listening to wip....lol
they are talking about reid needing to step down. They are saying he is 400lbs and on the verge of a heart attack, he has three more young children at home with his two oldest now in jail.
and they keep pointing out how the two older boys cars were registered in his name and all the guns they have are registered in Andy's name and that he is to blame as much as the kids. I didnt know that..

You just made me realize that neither Crayton nor Hurd caught a pass. Fortunately Tony Curtis came through. What a great jump and catch. We have 3 really good tight ends, 2 really good running backs, 2 really good-blocking fullbacks, a really good O-line, a really good QB and, if/when Glenn comes back, 3 really good receivers. And don't forget the guy making the calls. Garrett is awesome. I guess our offense is really good.

Lets see... Eagles QB gets nailed and Cowboys score on it.
Eagles are stuck with McNabb when they had TO. Again, you got stuck with McNabb LMAO... the better player is now on the Cowboys :D
