...for one game a year. and the only other time we wore them, we beat the cowgirls in a game with huge division implications. And I recently picked up a red Toomer and will be there sunday so go BIG RED!

Besides, I believe I read a study somewhere where it was stated that teams that wear red usually play better or something weird like that.

Of course that doesn't explain the Cardinals...but NOTHING can explain the Cardinals...so they're different....

Honestly, those red jerseys are going to be a lot easier for Romo to identify in the field of play, IMHO. The Blue and white blends alot more with the White and Blue that the Cowboys wear and easier to confuse in the heat of the battle.

It's a kind of silly specualtion, I know. But, I truly believe that color scheme plays into Romo's hands.

I think it does factor in some. I remember in my playing years when we'd play a team that had similar uni's kinda like Notre Dame and Navy this past weekend, sometimes I would hesitate for just a split second before making a hit or using my blockers correctly all in the process of having to think and react quickly at game speed.

Correct, ... Rutgers wore all black for the first time against the WV Mountaineers, and we drilled them 31-3 or something.

It's a bad look, much like when the Rangers wore red tops during the late 80's.

Red is an accent color for the Giants. It should remain an accent on their uni's.

Interesting thread.

The Giant players have asked all fans going to the game to wear red also. They want a sea of red. They will also be handing out red towels to wave, along with asking the fans to be excited and loud.

Only against Dallas....I love the way teams try to prepare to face the Cowboys.

Last week it was the "Rally around the Reid Family Issues" cause with Buddy Ryan making a "pump me up" appearance.

This week it's the "Sea of Red".

Now, 3 of the last 4 WS champs have worn red, could have been 4, but the Astros lost to the White Sox. Red Sox twice and Cardinals

In Basketball the Heat won two years ago and the Bulls and Rockets owned the 90s.

In the NFL, Red does not rule. The Niners do have 5 Lombardis and the Skins have 3, however neither has done anything of significance since 94. Oops, I forgot the Bucs did finally win the SB when they went to red uniforms.
