Saw it on an IMAX (Tropicana in Atlantic City) and it was great.
Check it out in 3-D if you have an IMAX close by.

yeah the IMAX out here is crap. They just put a bigger more square screen up in one of the theatres. With the seating meant for normal movies, the bottom 3rd of the screen is cut off unless you're way up front.. That didn't really matter with Transformers since it's aspect ratio isn't even close to that of IMAX (dunno if Beowolf has been formatted for IMAX??), so it really wasn't any different than watching it on a normal large sized screen. The sound was pretty bad too, speakers were crackling and all that.

The digital theater 3D (non-IMAX) is very cool, too... that's how I saw it (Annapolis Mall in MD).
A little goofy, a little loose with the source material, but really amazing to look at, and worth it just for that. Hadn't seen anything in 3D since Captain EO.
It was fun to have the 3D previews, too. Count me in for U23D whenever that comes out.
