that is a good question.

sadly, right now we are not doing our part and didn't join the kyoto so can hardly hold them to the fire.

china is rampantly backwards with human rights and health/safety issues but get away with it. :(

Actually I would argue that private industry is doing a lot more then you as a government groupie wants to admit.
