Point 3: Both the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions are BETTER then last year.
Point 4: However, Detroit is 3 games over their win total from last year. Dallas is only 2 games over.

Hey bag, Romo only has 1 loss on the road and is undefeated this year while playing away. His only loss was was some BS fluke FG in the dump you call home field.
Point 3: Both the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions are BETTER then last year.
Ya but one team is MUCH better than the other.

You could have done so much better; like...
Kitna > Romo
Sims > Ware
Bryant > Newman
Jones > Barber
Marinelli > Phillips
6-5 > 11-1

which is more impressive, being 3 games improved over 3 wins, or 2 games improved over 9?
gosh, you're making it real hard for me to root for you guys, I don't think my sadness over Taylor's death is going to be enough w/ your stupidity always hanging around
btw, we're on a 6-game winning streak, the Lions are on about a 4 game losing streak, so who's more likely to do the opposite on the 9th, a winning team against a struggling team, or struggling team versus a dominant, winning team?

I actually think it's possible Dallas loses to Detroit, not because Detroit's better, but because they always play above their level once towards the end of the year and surprise somebody. If Dallas doesn't come out prepared and Detroit plays well instead of making their typical mistakes, this could be an upset. But even so I think Dallas could win out after that.

Well fellas, HogsRLegends has spoken. There isn't much else left for us to do other than forfeit, since we are guaranteed to lose according to those points mentioned. Never mind that the Lions have one of the worst defenses in the league while Dallas has one of the best offenses in the league. Never mind that the Cowboys are playing on an extremely high level right now and the Lions are on a losing streak. Never mind that the Cowboys will have nine days in between games while the Lions only have six. Never mind that last year doesn't have any relevance at all on this season, as it was a different team and scheme.

If you're ever in New York, definitely make time to stop by either the original one in Brooklyn or the newer one in Great Neck, you won't be dissapointed.

That was probably Romo's worst game of his career. 4 fumbles, and on a couple of those he was not even touched. He was "off the reservation" that game.
Looking back though, i think he was just trying to do too much, to make up for our lack of D in December.
I applaud him for trying to tie the game there at the end with his run, but unfortunately he doesn't have the legs to run over/by a guy like Ernie Sims, Ernie nailed him pretty good.

That game wasn't a true indicator of the Cowboys. The first play was called back on a bullcrap decision by the officials. TNew popped that punk Furrey, causing the ball to fly into Roy's hands and he took it to the house on the first play! They called pass interference or some false bull. It was downhill from there. We had our chances, but played a piss poor game. And you know what happened a week later. Uh, the season didn't end too well, but that was then. Look at us now.

This has to be either the 1st or 2nd worst thread along with the thread newcster started about changing the Cowboys uniforms to red, white, and blue and changing the logo. It's a toss up for worst!

the funniest part is that those points he made are the ONLY things Detroit has going against us.
Detroit is completely outmatched.

This is such a silly post I don't even think it's worth my time to discuss it, instead, I will discuss the amazing steak dinner I had tonight.
My girlfriend and I went out to Peter Luger Steakhouse, the original one in Brooklyn. I can say it was easily the best steak dinner I've ever had, although it was a bit pricy. If you're ever in New York, definitely make time to stop by either the original one in Brooklyn or the newer one in Great Neck, you won't be dissapointed.
... See, now I don't even remember what this thread was supposed to be about anymore, oh well.
That's my favorite steak house in the world.
My mouth's already watering.

There is nothing worse than a bad troll.
This troll starts threads, then he sells fruit on the side of the freeway.

I'd like to point out, just for the record and kicks and giggles, that points 1 and 2 are the same point and point 3 isn't really a point.

I remember in grade school we did this whole exercise about the difference between then and than and when to use them. Even the people for whom English was not their primary language got it.
You know what's really sad? I saw in another thread where this "HogsRLegends" guy said he was a high school teacher. This is the kind of person shaping the young minds of tomorrow.

The Boys have forged new paths in every way this season. How can you possibly stand by that attempt at logic? :lmao:
I see us going into Detroit, getting about 67 sacks on Kitna through tremendous pressure and winning by at least 2 possessions.
Another one bites the dust on our way to Arizona.

Woody: Excuse me, Miss Chambers, but shouldn't it be "I thinks?"
Carla: Not in your case, Woody.

Start of the 4th Qtr and the Lions are only down by 32 to the Vikings. Do you suppose they were looking ahead?

Yeah, after the way they ran roughshod over the Vikings today, I'm worried about the Lions...
I can only hope that their anal orifices are all healed up by next Sunday, LOL...

1. I teach Biology, not English.
2. I wrote/typed this hastily.
3. My logic cannot be refuted.
4. I ask, why is this in the "Fantasy Football" section, when Detroit beat Dallas last season, and has improved MORE from last season then has Dallas?

Really ..... here is some of your logic.
We will be 10-6 at the end of the season. That will get us in.
Merriman is the best LB in the NFL. And its not even close.
I have suspicions that Demarcus Ware is on roids.
I smell us shutting you out.
Gibbs demands class unlike Phillips.
Typical low-class Cowboy behavior.
Cooley is better and tougher then Witten.
What fear? We own your defense.
Gibbs intentionally lost the game against the Giants last week as part of his long-term strategy.
You don't go from undrafted reject to 300 yards and 3 TDs a game in the NFL without cheating somehow. Period.
Romo has no muscle. He's too much of a pretty boy.
You guys ready to get swept again this season?

By the way, I thought you had class. Its not classy to send trash-talking PMs after a loss and rub salt in the wound.
