If the Cowboys were shopping Bryant and the best offers were Quincy Morgan or 2 5th rounders from KC, it doesn't appear too many teams wanted to take a chance on the guy. Don't you think teams around the league know Bryant is a headcase and a malcontent. He is quite talented, but he thinks he is the second coming of Jerry Rice. At some point, I assume the Cowboys thought he wasn't worth the trouble anymore. The fact that they requested a face to face meeting with his agent on Monday tells you something was coming to a head. I don't think his continuing attitude problems should surprise anyone. He fell to the late 2nd because of his issues at Pitt. Hasn't he had some sort of problem every year he has been in Dallas? The guy threw a jersey in his coach's face. It sounds like he desperately wanted out of Dallas. Its just too bad it didn't work out because he is a good young talent, but when you take chances on guys like Bryant, Ross or even Kareem Larrimore, they sometimes turn out to be the problems they were said to be in college.

We got TO for a 5th round pick and Brandon Whiting, a DE who wouldn't have made the team (but is starting in San Fran).

I so wish you would get off this board. I hate hearing your Philly chatter. Do the other bird fans NOT allow you to play on the boards w/ them? I mean really. You are on here WAYYYY to much. Its almost like you love the Cowboys more then your Boids.
Be real now. We want the facts of why you really are here. ;)

I'm just saying the value for players who have been problems isn't that high.

Agreed....it was a consolation prize to the 49's for the league giving into a cry baby and wanting a superstar connection of McNabb and Owens.

I think BP hit on it some in his reply...its a theory and I dont have anything other than circumstantial proof anyways...so I'll just keep it to myself
if I'm proven right I'll sell the rights to Weekly World Glove or the National Enquirier :)
