I really enjoyed this show. It got better as it went along and as they developed the characters. There were some bumps in the road with some of the writing but it was getting much better. The concept was good and it was getting easier to follow the weekly plots as they intertwined each other, unlike that of the old Quantum Leap series, which I liked as well.

Too bad, but I thought they should have given this show more of a chance.

And for those who like the show Chuck, it has been picked up for another season. I like that show as well.

I am surprised it lasted a season. Someone told me they were going to cancel it after the first three shows.

I am glad I never watched it now. Nothing like getting into a show and them canceling it.:mad:

The problem was that at the start it was a bit confusing because he would go back in time and then come back and somehow it would effect the current time but they didn't really get into the mechanics of it so it left you wondering a bit.

After the first few shows it got easier to digest and then it was fine. But you are right, kinda crappy to have it canceled after getting into it.

Journeyman was my favorite show.

For the record the show hasn't officially been cancelled. They just didn't pick up the option for the second half of season 1. Which wouldn't have happened regardless due to the writers' strike.

But as of right now it doesn't look good for journeyman.

There's a site that is organizing an activity to help save the show. Hey, it worked for Jericho.

Whatever happened to the Caveman show? That was an instant classic IMO.

I tried it out only because it had Bruce Campbell in it - it's actually pretty good.

Oh my bad. Let me explain it to you.

In real life (you know, away from the internet and television) cavemen don't exist. They existed many millions of years ago, but they are now extinct.

Just like the show "Cavemen".

Careful now, thats risky stuff, the outside world as I like to call it :p:

I watched a couple of the 1st episodes and I haven't seen it on in a couple weeks. So I didn't know if you were trying to say it is extinct or what. It probably should be canceled though if its not already.

Yeah I watched a couple of eps too. THere were some moments, but the crap far outweighed anything good that came out of that show.

The problem with Bionic Woman is that it became Alias, the previous NBC spy series. That's all that show is: Alias with bionics. I stopped watching it after the first couple of shows. The bionics have very little to do with the show. And lastly, the bionics became a little too over the top. It's not the same bionic concept found in the original. These people also have "anthrocytes" which are microscopic robots that act like cells to help repair the body. There are too many martial arts.

I wish the show focused on the bionics and involved more robots and different villains with bionics. Instead, the show essentially became Jamie Summers as this superspy that helps take down terrorist organizations. That concept would have been cool about 10 years ago but its no longer interesting after having Alias on the air.

Chuck is cheesy and dumb...but I can't help but like it. At least it has some nice eyecandy.:D

Also The guy that plays masuka on dexter was kind of funny as Tang on Chuck...although his character moved on now.

Chuck is a josh shwartz show. His writing is quirky and good. You probably didnt, not sure why I did, but somehow I watched the O.C. and that was shwartz first show. The first season was really good. It was like watching an 80s movie each week. After the first season it was like anything the wb produces, teen drama stuff.

anyway Chuck has a lot of the same people working for shwartz as the o.c. did, it has the same humour and the same look to it.

I like it. Its fun. Its the only show I watch anymore that is not on hbo. the hbo lineup is the best. But I do enjoy chuck.

I dont know how long a show like chuck can last but it is funny enough for me to stick around and watch it.

Ditto, though I didn't realize it until about a year and a half ago.

Journeyman was easily the best new show this year, shame the network heads don't get that.

Ironic how all the canceled shows now try and recreate the Jericho protest and save of a show.

Jericho Season 2 starts February 12th and they have been in HD on DTV Universal HD channel last weekend and again on 1-4-07.

Yeah it wouldn't of even been as bad had they given the show a chance and shown it in the correct order. But they had to go and show the 3rd episode first, not allowing the characters to be setup.

That and it kept having gaps in the week because of baseball playoffs and stuff

However I was pleasantly surprised by the move Serenity.

Would have loved to see the series after watching that movie.

You need to watch the series, then the movie.

If you have netflix you can rent the series on DVD. There's only like 14 episodes. Amazing show. Fox is freakin' dumb for airing it out of order, scheduling it at dumb times, and then cancelling.

Chuck - looked too cheezy so I haven't watched it.
Cavemen -looked absolutely stupid, so I never watched it.
Heroes - love it and wish it would last longer.

It might be. The English actress who plays Jaime is hot but the show is not all that good.

Don't know about best, but I liked it.

I think they should have had him travel throughout time, not just his lifetime. He could have gone back in time to meet up with Titus Pullo.

I think maybe they didn't want to look like Quantum Leap. Vorenus back in Rome would have been awesome though :laugh2:

It is a great show. All the characters pull you in.

I would STILL recommend to you - watch the episodes on the nbc website....

even if the show doesnt come back.... what they have put out there is enough... even if its over.

These network execs kill me, killing Firefly, now killing Journeyman. Don't forget Moonlight, and Life those are 2 really good shows.

I would pay to look like the lead in Moonlight. Just think how you would have to beat the chicks off with a stick if you look like him.

I like Ghost Whisperer too, that show scares the crap out of me.

I like that show too, but it kinda jumped the shark a bit when Camryn Mannheim came on board...

If you like scary shows watch "A Haunting" on Discovery Channel. It's a really well-made docu-drama...

My wife likes those shows. I just shake my head and go to a different room to watch Star Trek. :D
