I cant believe the game tonight sick to my stomach. All you heard about is Tonys vacation too mexico this week and yet he played a good game last week and Brett Favre played a ****ty game tonight but you wont hear half of what Tony had to deal with! Giants are the 2nd best team in the NFC I dont care what anybody says about that mistake that happened last week!:lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

it's quite funny how Eli, a screwup for most of his career, came out on top over the league's 2nd and 3rd best QBs

Ok, ok
Eli beat the #2 QB (Romo) and the #4 QB (Favre).
Happy?

Please take this test with me:
How many Super Bowls has Favre played in and how many Super Bowl rings does he have?
How many Super Bowls has Romo played in and how many Super Bowl rings does he have?
How many playoff games has Favre won?
How many playoff games has Romo won?
That's the difference, my friend.

Most of his career? He's been playing for four years.
Finally, the light bulb went off.
Eli is not the same "screwup" that we've come to love and ridicule. He made big play, after big play, after big play in all three playoff games.
And that's why his team is going to the Super Bowl and the 2nd and 3rd best QBs in the league will be watching on a television - unless they attend the game as spectators.

ok...so he's been a screw up for all but 4 games

Here you forgot one.
How many regular season games and playoff games has Favre INT'd into a loss? :bang2:

Never discount the ability of Brett Favre to mess the bed. The first time I ever heard that phrase it was in relation to a Favre choke job in the playoffs.

First of all Romo didn't play good last week. 50% completion rate in a playoff game won't cut it.
Second, Brett Favre has choked away more big games than he has ever won, and that is a fact.
Third, if Tony Romo doesn't learn to control his emotions in crunch time when it MOST MATTERS and that is PLAYOFF time, then he will end up not being what we all want him to be.

Favre is 12-10 in the playoffs. 39 TDs and 28 Ints. Tied for most playoff losses and most playoff picks in history.

Absolutely right, and when it comes to the BIGGEST games, and the most pressure, he consistently heaves up pick invitations. For every interception this guy has thrown in his career, he has 2 more that SHOULD have been picked. I've never seen a guy more lucky when it comes to bouncing balls and the like. He is a casual NFL fan and fantasy football fan's dream. Lots of flair, lots of bravado, lots of TD's, rear end slapping, and smiling and winking, but when it came to the biggest games, he always played nervous.
Note: By casual fan I'm not suggesting that a more than casual fan wouldn't like Favre, I'm simply saying that he is someone even your grandma would like watching. That is why he is so popular and why John Madden makes me ill with his annual Favre lovefest.

Here are the playoff games he choked away:
2007 NFC Title game against Giants - last INT set up the Gints' game winning score
2004 WC game against the Viqueens - got blown out, and had a MISERABLE game
2003 NFCDG @ Philly - his pick in OT set up Philly's game winning FG
2002 WC against *Atlanta* - had a miserable game in the SNOW(Falcons ain't no cold weather team!)
2001 NFCDG @ Rams - threw SIX picks, THREE of which were returned for TDs
1995 NFC Title game @ Dallas - his pick late in the game enabled Dallas to drive for the game sealing score
1994 and 1993 NFCDGs @ Dallas - MISERABLE

He may not sniff the playoffs next year. Who knows with the way the NFC is. The Bears will probably return to dominance in the North again next year- they dominated the Packers this year even as bad as they were. I would say the Vikings will be good, but with Tarvaris Jackson- no way.

I think he has 1. They lost the 2nd one to Denver, and it was the first time an NFC team had lost to the AFC in YEARS.

He went to 2 Superbowls but only won of them. Lost to the Broncos in which he failed to drive to them to game winning TD on the final drive.

Packers 2008 opponents
Home-Chicago, Detroit, Minnesota, Atlanta, Carolina, Houston, Indianapolis, Dallas
Away Chicago, Detroit, Minnesota, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Seattle
They have a pretty tough road schedule and play Indy and Dallas at home.
I doubt they go 13-3 again.
Funny is how Dallas fan likes to build up Aikman on his Rings. Favre breaks all Marino career records and has a ring. One of the great QB's EVER
Yet defensive and protecting Young Tony who can't win ONE playoff game. He keeps partying in Cabo with celebs pre games and loses, this sticks to him.
He made the bad decision, now lives with it.
Only way he makes it go away is to win a few big games.
