You know its the Super Bowl with all its hype when a segment on ESPN centered around that ALL-STAR, PRO BOWL stud, Brandon Jacobs (I forgot he never was either one of them) as being "a dominant force"...The guy is a good player, great trash talker, but a guy who has a less than impressive resume....yet, one "great run" trucking Woodson in the playoffs makes him a Super Bowl story....so much so that they made the point of how he likes to "strip the manhood" of defensive players by running over them???? OK

I just find it hilarious, good god, what would they have said if the Boys were playing, how Julius Jones runs like Sayers!!! Let the hype continue...

BTW, I have no bitterness left from losing to the GMEN ;)

Why didn't they show Ware stoning him on the fourth and 1 run?

the giants love will be over come monday morning. They will be back to playing the blame game.

The giants after a bye....not so good.
Belichick given two weeks to prepare for a team he just played, with brady and moss on a fast track in great weather...

That spells doom for the giants.

Just the line by Jacobs, "I like to take away their manhood" is drop dead funny to me, what a tool!!!! Yes he is big and strong, but I have seen him get wiped out more often that he wipes people out!!

Yep, they've turned this idiot into Jim Brown this week.

What a joke.

Jacobs in the Superbowl is the VERY worst thing about the Giants playoff run to me. (Outside the Boys losing of course)

I hate to see odious contemptable scum like him achieve anything at all, it seems like such an injustice. He's a complete punk in every sense of the word and his smashing the football into the play clock after scoring his touchdown at Texas Stadium was the icing on the cake. A complete lack of class, he deserved nothing but so far has got everything.

i don't get why it's so special when he runs over somebody. he's 265 lbs which means he weighs more than every db and most linebackers too. probably even some defensive ends also. so he's special because he ran over woodson who weighs 50 lbs less than jacobs?

I know. Let's see how Jacobs is after he has 10 carries for 37 yards or so on Sunday.

70 degree weather, a vulnerable Giants pass D, 2 weeks of preparation for Belichick= blowout Sunday imo.

Yes, Bradshaw is a pretty good RB. Just goes to show there's no need to panic and send off multiple top round draft picks for a single RB.

Ryan Grant was a UDFA on the Giants also.

Anyone want to take a bet that Jacobs gets hurt sometime during the Game.

I think he has in every game this year. He may run hard ,but I think he's a wuus myself.

While Jacobs is no where near a "legend", his numbers are a lot better than some of you are giving him credit for.

Jacobs had over 1,000 yards in 11 games and a 5ypc average. He had 6 regular season TD's and he has 4 postseason TD's. Not too bad.
