every bone in my body wanted the Cheatriots to lose and now that they did......I want to puke every time I see Mannings ugly face celebrating a Super Bowl win.....I watched the entire game in a stupor not knowing who I should root for. In the back of my mind I didn't want the game to ever end because then I would have to face the reality that one of these two teams was going to win the game. I just want tomorrow to start so I can go back to work and not think about football again til next year.
I need a drink and a shrink.

The only way I can explain Eli's playoff performances is that he thought they would get him into the Special Olympics.

Just tell yourself you were rooting for the 72 Dolphins tonight. That way you can feel better about it.

NO!
You must admit that it was an exciting, AWESOME Super Bowl!!!!
The Giants are the best ever!!
Admitting that there was no way for you to enjoy it insinuates that the game wasn't well-played.
Actually, I'm right there with you.
I hated this SB.....it was the first time I watched for the commercials.
I do admit that the end was exciting....but I quickly came to earth when I realized the Giants won.....would've felt the same way with a Pats win.
Oh....this SB sucked. Mainly because someone was going to win.

Great few games got Eli. I think this shows us that we have the opportunity to win IT next year.

Was it just me and my drunken stupor or did the commercials even suck?
I did chuckle at the caveman with the invention of the wheel and bottle opener though.:)

So so glad I didn't watch it.
Eli Manning won a superbowl.... I think I slipped into an alternate reality a month or so ago. I preferred the universe I used to be in where he was a bumbling joke.
Congrats to the NY Giants and their Fans.....
A great ....great playoff run.....they beat every team they lost to in the regular season.......they deserve this Championship.......they didnt sneak in....they didnt cheat.....they played on the road and beat all of them.
No body remembers playoff victories.....just championships.
I hate the Giants....Eagles and Skins.....and NE and the 49's.....more then any other teams......
but tonight.......Im happy to see the Giants win......they deserved it.....and even better they did it without Tiki and Shockey....

That last part is what gets to me. Give the Giants their props, but some of these posters go overboard for anything not Cowboy. How can you be over-critical of your own team, while licking the arses of every opponent and still call yourself a fan? I know, I know. They're realists, not homers. Yada yada yada.

If the Giants or any other non-Cowboy team from the NFC East cured cancer, I still would not give them props.

It's called "heat of the moment".
Why do folks like you not understand that sometimes people just react? Some things are "tongue in cheek".
I'm still upset with us giving our game away. Maybe, in June, I could give them props.
It's funny....immediately after our loss, numerous Giants fans get on our board and almost demand we give them a "good game sport."
I didnt' feel like it. Still don't......It takes me a while to get over a loss like the one we suffered (and I mean suffered) earlier.
I would've hated to see the Pats win......just as much as I HATE it that the Giants won.
Why are there some on here that can't see that?

This was a weird season. All season long talk about how great the Pats were, would they go undefeated, how good Dallas and GB were and would Indy sneak in and win the SB again?
But what we all didn't know, (the fans and media), that it was all about the NYGiants. ech. Wierd season. I thought NYG would be an afterthought in the playoffs. I would never have predicted them going much beyond TB.
Dallas lost a golden opportunity.
I just hope we get the real Tony Romo next year. Not the guy we got in December who played like a playboy in puppy love.
