In the AFC, I really like the Colts and Jacksonville. If I had to go with one team, I'll take Jacksonville. Solid defense, very good quarterbacking, strong OL and running game. They are probably one WR away.

In the NFC, it's wide open as ever.

But I honestly like our chances. A bit of improvement in the Secondary and one more WR, I think we're fine.

Dallas vs. Jacksonville/Indianapolis/San Diego sounds good.

In the NFC, I'm going to have to go with the Cowboys, Giants, and Eagles.

Eagles should've gotten in this year, but they had a few unlucky games.

It's hard to predict these things w/o seeing what happens in free agency and the draft.
But hey, it's only predictions:
NFC: Dallas, New York, Seattle, Philadelphia
AFC: NE, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, San Diego, Indianapolis

I'm not sure about Philly.

I think McNabb has already peaked and is on the decline. Plus, he can't stay healthy.

But I agree that NYG and Seattle are going to be tough.

In the NFC no one can beat us but us.
I think we're going to start seeing the AFC slip a little.

NFC: Dallas......Green Bay, Seattle, NYG
AFC: Indy, NE, San Diego

But so much will depend on the draft and FA.

So, do you think JJ goes for it in FA?

He's defintely going for it with the potential coaching hires, so it seems.

I don't know. I just see them carrying over the momentum from the way they finished this season like Green Bay did the 2006 season into this season. When the team started to get healthy towards the end of the season, they started to play like the team many predicted would come out the NFC. The still have one of the tougher secondaries in the league.

By "going for it" I think the best thing we can do is resign our guys.

New England isn't going anywhere. They will be considered the best team in the league when the season begins next September.

I think we will end up re-signing Hamlin and Flo.

But I think J Jones, Reeves and maybe K Davis are gone.

Really, Hamlin, Flo, Barber, and Canty are the ones I'd go for.

I think that would make us the favorites right there.

If we can get a top CB in the draft, we'd be better than we were this year.

And I really think we need 1 more veteran WR.

I'm not talking about a pro bowler, but just one more vet know knows how to do all the little things right and who can stretch a defense.

I think it's safe to say we play in the toughest division in football.

I know this may sound like a homer post, but I truly think we'll be the most talented team in not only he NFC next year, but the entire NFL. We're only going to improve with our draft picks and FA. We're the 4th youngest tream in the league and we now have two years of playoff experience. But, the biggest thing is we should be playing with a very big chip on our shoulder next season.

Next February? Dallas over Indy.

AFC - Indy, Jags, Chargers, and Patriots. Why anyone thinks the Patriots are just going to fall off the map is beyond me.

NFC - Dallas, Eagles, Saints. The G-Men will likely fall back a little cause that just seems to traditionally happen anymore to teams in the Superbowl. (That being lately since only the Pats have managed to make it to back to back Superbowls in the last 10 or so seasons) They'll probably still make the playoffs but i wouldnt be surprised if they're one and done.

The Pats will win the AFC East by default. The rest of the division sucks. They will still be good, but they are going to lose some key players and they have some serious age issues on defense. I see them going 11-5 or 12-4 next year, but they won't be the best team in the AFC.

AFC--- Pats, Jax, San Diego

NFC--- Cowboys, Saints, Pack

my guess is Giants will suck next year and not even make playoffs

This year reminds me so much of Pittsburgh's Super Bowl win year before last. They clearly weren't the best team in the league, but they barely made the playoffs, got hot at the right time, won 3 road games and then the Super Bowl. The following year they failed to even make the playoffs. I could very easily see the same thing happen to the Giants next year.
