...the Pats have benefited all season from teams not being able to play physical without incurring the customary illegal contact, holding, or roughing the QB penalty.
Tonight the refs let the two teams go at it like football used to be played before the league started favoring the offenses with all the ridiculous rules that favor the offense.
I thought it was a great game!

I thought the same thing, a very good job by the officials on this one.

Very well officiated game. Today just solidified the fact that IMO Mike Carrey is the best Ref in the league.

And what was strange was that it was Carey's crew that had made all the questionable calls throughout the year.

I've always thought that Mike Carey was one of the best, it not the best ref in the league. I can't think of a game that I've watched with him officiating that I thought some "weird stuff" was going on.

Except when the Patriots recover a fumble and the refs call it a Giants recovery... completely boning them. Funny that usually those type of calls go their way all season. Maybe there is something to Karma after all.

except the Giant had his hand on the ball under the pile, he pulled it out from the Patriot.
I thought as per the normal, it would have been roughing on Marcia Brady when Mitchell hit him in the third quarter. He got him in the head, and usually when that happens to Brady, it's a penalty.

Obvious...
Because the NFL knew the whole world was watching in light of all the accusations of Spygate coming to the forefront by Specter...
If they started playing favorites once again, it would have just solidified it all. Even the media is jumping in the cheating angle more now than it ever did...
