I tip my hat to the they went out there as the 5th seed took care of their business with some tough road games and then took care of the Pats. Not many thought the Giants had a chance in hell but they went out and did the unexpected. So Congratulations to the Giants and a great season

I love it.
Bring the title back to the NFC and take it away from the team I wont have to hear about for the rest of my life.

I was brought up to give people and team their dues and the Giants went out and earned it. As I said I don't know anyone who thought the Giants would take it all the way but they hung in there together as a team, got on a hot streak and took it. Like you I'm glad the title is back in the NFC as well as the NFC East. Maybe people will realize the East is harder than they think.

The Giants earned this. They were 0-4 in the regular season against us, Green Bay, and New England yet went through those teams 1-2-3 on the way to the title.
That scrambling pass by Manning will go down as one of the great plays in Super Bowl history.
Also, what was the logic behind the play calling on the Patriots' final drive? They had two time outs yet Brady kept chucking it downfield? Did they not consider going over the middle and using some of those timeouts? The only consistent threat for the Pats all night seemed to be Welker yet they throw downfield to Moss?

Evidently they felt Moss could come up with the big play down field. I was suprised that Brady got back up after the last sack. That was a pretty massive hit right up the gut.

He almost did make the big play down field but, he didn't.
Anyway, I echo your congratulations Dooms. Great game, great win, one of the best Super Bowls I have seen. Your the Champs and you earned it on the field. Congratulations to the G-Men!

You are right Moss almost did come up with the biggest play of the game. I was expecting one of his highlight catches but the Giant defenders did a great job of looking back to the ball and getting a finger tip on it.

Have to admit.. I'm not a Giants fan but, it looks like they played their best game last night.

I can't ride their jock...I saw one of the luckiest teams in NFL history. The Pats dropped at least 4 ints and missed two fumble recoveries(still don't know how Bradshaw came up with that ball). The Giant D was very good though.

Give credit, where credit is due. Lucky, good, both, it doesn't matter. They are the Champs and they did it in a way that any team would be hard pressed to accomplish. On the road, against the Pats. When the Giants beat us, I said that they were the better team. We are more talented, IMO, but they were the better team. I think that last night, they showed that again. They didn't beat themselves. They made the most of every opportunity and they won. The most talented teams are not always the teams that win. In fact, more times then not, the best coached teams are the teams that win. To me, that's the Giants this year. JMO

When the Giants beat us, hardly anyone gave them credit. We just gave it to them.
I guess now the Pats are the gutless choking pigs who peaked too early and faltered down the stretch. ;)

I'd like to add my Congratulations to the Giants as well. They got it together when it counted and ran the table against some very good teams.
I think Eli deserves some individual Congrats as well. He really came of age in the last part of this season. Unfortunately I fear that we will be dealing with THAT Eli for years to come...but for now I congratulate him on a job well done.

As a diehard Cowboys fan, I will not, nor am I capable of giving either the Giants, Redskins or Eagles any "due respect" no matter the accomplishment. Just can't get myself to do it.
I will mock them, I will kick them when they're down, I will make up things to lessen their accomplishments, I will ignore the facts if those facts show any favor to them, I hate them and their fans, and I hate the cities they represent.

Finally something I can agree with. I will never offer my congrats to Sheli and the Gints. They weren't the best team in football this year...not that I would congratulate them if they were.
I'm sick of their chuck-and-pray and Strahans gapped teeth. This was on of the worst days of my football viewing life.

Congratulations to the Giants.
The Giants didn't have the best personnel, yet they were LED by coaches to believe they were better. And, thus, they played better.
And today they the champs.
And how do you like them now, Tiki?:laugh2:
