View Full Version : I live in NYC and I'm sick
I'm hearing so much trash today...and I literally have nothing I can say. Their D played great, Eli played clutch and didn't have dumb face..
Attitude, fortitude, conviction, those imho are the reasons they are the champs and we sit at home. Every year I watch them up here that is the most glaring difference, (not talent level) but attitude. They have a few Haley-types in terms of ferocity (not as good). We have on our D not one mean sob, outside of maybe Burnett.
Next year will be fun and crazy.

Burnett definitely needs to start next year, he's a playemaker with a mean streak! I think we have to many "nice guys" on the team, time to get nasty!

Well the only thing I can argue with is the idea that Eli did not have dumb face...because he ALWAYS has dumb face.:laugh2:

You gotta give credit where credit is due and the Giants beat the Cowboys when it counted and they beat the Pats for all the chips. Wonder what kind of night Jerry Jones had? Or Patrick Crayton.

That is just part of Eli plan. It is called the Forrest Gump mind game. :laugh2:

The good news is the baseball is still king in this city, so it won't be long before they start talking Yankees.. and we won't have to hear from Boston.. for the rest of our lives.. which in NY.. is a big plus.

I am in the same boat as you and boy does it suck. The funny thing is, is that this season went from being one of my best seasons (Cowboys 13-3 and homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.) to my worse (The giants winning the Super Bowl). I think I am going to.......:puke:

That is so true. They will be talking baseball here on tuesday, which will be a alot better than listening about the giants. I am glad I have Sirius radio.

LOL
It was a different kind of "If"
I have given much credit to Eli... he won the game. He is a good QB and deserved MVP
My "If" was of the "it was going to end the Patriots way".... game ending gamewinning TD followed by a Pats INT = game over.

and if my aunt had balls would she be my uncle?
You guys are right, I take solace knowing that at least Boston lost out.
There has to be a balance between old school strong armed coaches and Wade style. That's what the whole story this year has been up here, how Coughlin mellowed out. I think players know he'll still hang their balls on a wall but he doesn't flip out on each detail.

Yes IF he would have held on to it but he didn't which goes back to the if's and buts and candy and nuts. :laugh2:

I live in NY also, but I have to admit this was one of the greatest postseason runs in NFL History you can't knock the Giants they were incredible the last month they earned every bit of this to become champs this year.
