"I'll give you a quote on Seymour," Jacobs said. "You can write that he's a soft [expletive]. He said we should get ready to go home. Well, now he's on the team that went 18-1."
For the first time in my life, I can laugh with Brandon Jacobs....

Oh, Brandon will get his.
You don't run your mouth as much as he does and not get humbled at some point.

You can say whatever you what when you defeat the 18-0 team to win the SB!

Gawd, like Jacobs wasn't unbearable before. He'll never shut up now.
And Seymore could probably get a similar ypc to Jacobs.

He sure talks a lot for a guy who is mediocre at best.

The funny thing about it is that Seymour, after the score by the Patriots, was talking smack, telling the Giant players that they are going home losers....

I can laugh at Jacobs. As if he should be calling anyone soft.
His playoff numbers are against the teams the Giants played:
Bucs: 13 for 34 yards (2.6 YPC) Cowboys: 13 for 54 yards (3.8 YPC) Packers: 21 for 67 yards (3.1 YPC) Patriots*: 14 for 42 yards (3 YPC) Playoff Totals: 61 for 197 yards (3.2 YPC avg)
Only players that actually play well should be talking smack. The Patriots DL wasn't even close to the reason the Patriots lost.

All the direspect and smack talk between players is a sad commentary on our society. Seymour is one of the worst in the league and Jacobs is just as bad.
But we have them on our team and they are just as disgusting and classless as Jacobs.

No, he got the popcorn. It's just that his teammates had to anti-up for his share.

Too much smack talk from those who can't back it up. I'm talking about Crayton too.

On a side note, anyone else think that Jacobs was doing a Julius Jones impersonation? I'm thinking the angles we see on tv are whats clouding our judgement on these guys. You could clearly see the cutback lanes but yet there he is running up the backs of the linemen. Perhaps we've been too hard on JJ?

I can tell you who I was afraid of when Dallas played them, and it sure wasn't Jacobs! I like that kid Bradshaw, he's going to be a nice back...

Jacobs is not a tough inside runner despite his size. It wouldn't surprise me if Bradshaw was their starter next yr and BJ (that's funny) is short yardage back.

I don't care what his 40 time is, that guy has absolutely no initial burst. And even when he "runs over" someone, he usually just picks up an extra yard or two before falling over. Bradshaw actually gets more yards after initial contact.
All I saw was Jacobs b•tching as usual after every tackle. He's a wuss, who gets a ring from someone elses good work on the day. He should thank Eli, Amani, Tyree and the defense for the gift.

I can't stand Jacobs, and I think he's way overrated. But Bradshaw is a tough little guy and a good runner.

I don't like Jacobs, and he hasn't really done anything individually to talk smack (though the guy acts like he's an all star) but this was funny. I have to laugh about this cause Seymour looks like an idiot now.

That's why even in the face of a win, he can't be any better than this. Punk.
Bradshaw's no better; he just isn't anyone to be talking to the press yet, but he's always shouting after the play is over. It's an overall NY mindset that these chumps have, which is why I hate them.
I see the same types in the street.

I don't really get too upset about the shouting, or jesturing, or any of that after plays. How can we? He had two of the biggest talkers and showboaters in the world, even after first downs or what have you, in Irvin and Sanders.
I'm not offended by the showing off, so much, as I'm offended by ignorance when people talk smack before or after a game.
But, again, this particular quote on Seymour is hilarious.

Too many mighty mouths in this league. At least he isn't whining for more respect.

Yeah, Bradshaw is mouthy too. That annoys me, but he doesn't talk as much as Jacobs and he runs better.

Actually, Jacobs may not have had great ypc numbers but he did have four postseason TD's and kept the Giants alive with a gritty inside run on fourth and one.

He talks more than any dime-a-dozen player that I have ever seen. Except Patrick Crayton of course.
