1a. Felix Jones
With Julius Jones ready to test the free agent waters and Marion Barber a restricted free agent, as well, the Cowboys will likely be looking to add insurance at running back. Jerry Jones, always looking to make a splash, could be overcome by this speedster's upside should he run in the 4.3s at the Combine, as expected.
1b. Malcolm Kelly
The re-signing of Patrick Clayton was a solid move, but questions about Terry Glenn's durability and the mercurial Terrell Owens facing Dallas, the team would be wise to grab Kelly here.
Chad Reuter
1a. Leodis McKelvin
1b. Early Doucet

Any draft not taking a CB in the 1st rd is a bad draft to me.

Why is it that everyone wants to overlook a big need for OT?

Why is it that everyone wants to overlook a big need for OT?
because we have one of the better starting tandems in the nfc?

Perhaps its because we have two quality starters at OT (until we know more about Flozell). ...Or the fact that we took two OT in last year's draft, one of which has been better than advertised. ...Or maybe its' the fact that we took one two years ago that the coaches have reportedly said could start. Maybe that's it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not against picking up a tackle, but any tackle that is worth a first round grade this year will be gone well before 22 or 28. We should look on day two. We have other needs that are more pressing on day one.

Who's that? I'm pretty sure that going into the draft, Free was higher ranked than Marten, people thought we reached on Marten taking him that early and apparently we may have.
I wouldn't mind us taking Otah with that first pick, as my sig suggests. CB with the 2nd 1st and WR in the 2nd round if we have to.

I was referring to Free. I recall the knock on him was his footwork, and that he'd have to play OG in the NFL. I was saying he was better than advertised as this is clearly not the case, and the coaches were stoked on his ability and progress. Marten may have been a reach, but conversely, I think Free was an outstanding pick.
I like everyone in your draft preferences except Jamaal Charles. Good stuff there, I can't say that I'd complain with anybody else on that list.

In the entire history of the Dallas Cowboys we have taken exactly 1 offensive lineman in the first round...Howard Richards.
It's not gonna happen.

2 CBs in the first, thank you...

Wasn't really an OG prospect at all.

Actually his teammates called him Doug Freak for his freakish athletic ability.

Doh'. I'm not sure who I was thinking of...I suppose it may have been Marten. I'm not sure. I forgot that Free used to play TE too. Either way, I'm thinking the coaches like the depth we have on the line right now. That's saying something when you think about our line circa '05.

These are great picks.
Kelly , imo, is better than any WR out there. He is fast, fluid, big(6'4') and is said to have the best hands of all receivers.
