1
Aaron Rodgers
(QB) Cal The Dolphins are likely to start over from scratch after the season; they get the best QB in the draft to build with.
2
Cedric Benson
(RB) Texas The Buccaneers have been looking for an every down back for years. Benson has been overly productive as a 4-year starter.
3
*Rodrique Wright
(DT) Texas The 49ers are rebuilding, and the best place to start is in the trenches. Wright is a dual threat tackle who can stop the run and rush the pass.
4
Antrel Rolle
(CB) Miami (Fl) Deltha O'Neal and Tory James have not proven to be the corners Marvin Lewis needs to win.
5
From Bills
Derrick Johnson
(OLB) Texas Coach Parcells and owner Jerry Jones jump all over this instate prodigy. Johnson has the makings of a Derrick Brooks type 'backer.
6
*Mike Williams
(WR) USC A year late, but Williams makes it into the draft and is taken ahead of some top defenders. The Chiefs offense lacks a real go-to threat, Williams can be that guy.
7
David Pollack
(DE) Georgia Pollack has shown again this season why he's the best end in college.
8
Alex Barron
(OT) Florida State Teamed with free agent acquisition John Tait, Barron will solidify the Bears offensive line.
9
Braylon Edwards
(WR) Michigan Edwards will step right in and fill the role of the deep threat opposite Steve Smith.
10
Marlin Jackson
(CB) Michigan The Saints have been ignoring the corner position for too long.
11
*Haloti Ngata
(DT) Oregon The Redskins grab this huge tackle to lock up blockers for LaVar Arrington.
12
*Chris Henry
(WR) West Virginia The Titans passed up Randy Moss once for Kevin Dyson; they won't make the same mistake twice.
13
*Thomas Davis
(S) Georgia The Packers lack a hard-hitting defender in the secondary. Assuming they get Drew Brees in the off season, Davis is the force they need in the defensive backfield.
14
Kyle Orton
(QB) Purdue With Rich Gannon retiring and Kerry Collins falling apart, the Raiders look to the future with Kyle Orton.
15
Carnell Williams
(RB) Auburn The Cowboys decide they let too many good backs pass them by last year and grab one who many people feel is the best in this class.
16
*Marcus McNeil
(OT) Auburn Grabbing McNeil completes the much-improved Houston line. With even more time, Carr will be deadly.
17
Corey Webster
(CB) LSU The Browns have to realize that if they want to win, they are going to have to stop people from scoring on them. Grabbing an offensive lineman here wouldn't be bad either.
18
Jammal Brown
(OT) Oklahoma The Chargers are on the rise, but they need to improve their line first.
19
*Abdul Hodge
(ILB) Iowa Ed Hartwell may not be brought back this off-season; Hodge could step in from day one and not miss a beat.
20
Jonathan Scott
(OT) Texas Walter Jones is eventually going to get tired of being franchised every year.
21
*Heath Miller
(TE) Virginia One thing that Mooch always had in San Francisco was a sure handed TE.
22
Michael Munoz
(OT) Tennessee The Rams have lost Kyle Turley and Orlando Pace has looked bad this year. Munoz could replace for either.
23
*Mathias Kiwanuka
(DE) Boston College It's no secret that the Jags will be targeting a pass rusher. They get a good one here.
24 Anttaj Hawthorne
(DT) Wisconsin The Vikings have not been happy with Chris Hovan and may look to replace him this off season.
25
From Giants Marcus Spears
(DE) LSU In Spears the Chargers get a versatile end that could play in both the 3-4 and the 4-3.
26 *Justin Miller
(CB) Clemson The Colts land an exciting corner and return man here.
27 Cro Thorpe
(WR) Florida State Plaxico Burress may or may not be back next season. Thorpe has the speed to beat corners deep, he falls because of his inconsistencies.
28 *Daryl Blackstock
(OLB) Virginia The Broncos are still trying to replace Ian Gold on the outside; they do better by getting Blackstock.
29 **Darnell Bing
(S) USC Bing uses the Larry Fitzgerald rule to get into the draft and the Falcons are thankful. Bing plays like a modern day Ronnie Lott.
30 Fabian Washington
(CB) Nebraska The Jets need speed in the secondary and find just that with Washington.
31 Mark Clayton
(WR) Oklahoma Clayton may be the most complete WR in this class, but falls to the Patriots because he is only 5'11.
32 Wesley Britt
(OT) Alabama Getting a possible franchise tackle at the end of the first round is a great way to start.

33
From Dolphins
Ronnie Brown
(RB) Auburn The Eagles grab a big back to compliment Westbrook and provide a much needed punch to the offense.
34
Shaun Cody
(DL) USC The 49ers need a run-stopping end to play opposite Andre Carter. With Cody, they finally fill the elephant end position they’ve been lacking.
35
Elton Brown
(OG) Virginia The “Big Easy” comes to Tampa Bay to shore up their line.
36
Carlos Rogers
(CB) Auburn Losing Antoine Winfield hurt more than they let on and they must hurry to replace him.
37
Erasmus James
(DE) Wisconsin James has been playing amazing lately, but something about his injury history concerns me.
38
Andrew Walter
(QB) Arizona State The Cardinals are thrilled that Walter slide this far and take the local boy to lead their team.
39
Geoff McArthur
(WR) Cal McArthur hasn’t matched his 2003 production, but he is a very smart receiver that will thrive in an Isaac Bruce like role here.
40
Rob Petetti
(OT) Pittsburgh The Panthers gambled with their offensive line this season and lost, they have to find durable blockers.
41
Donte Nicholson
(S) Oklahoma The Bengals continue to try and fix a terrible defense.
42
From
Redskins
Kevin Burnett
(OLB) Tennessee Burnett provides the Saints with a talented linebacker who can play anywhere he's needed.
43
Antonio Perkins
(CB) Oklahoma Perkins torn ACL kept him out of the first round, but the Titans see his potential and grab him before he falls too far.
44
From
Saints
Dan Cody
(DE) Oklahoma This blue-collar defender will fit right in with the Packers.
45
*Marion Barber III
(RB) Minnesota Barber decides to come out rather than lose more carries to Lawrence Maloney and becomes the 2nd piece of the rebuilding puzzle in Oakland.
46
Lorenzo Alexander
(DT) Cal For the second pick in a row, the Packers look to add to their defensive line.
47
Mark Walker
(CB) TCU The Cowboys have a gaping hole at right corner; Walker can step in and play early on.
48
Michael Boley
(OLB) Southern Miss The Browns look again to the defensive side of the ball and grab the undersized playmaker, Boley.
49
Fred Gibson
(WR) Georgia Questions about his health and toughness allow Gibson to fall to the Chargers and their depleted WR core.
50
Jamaal Brimmer
(S) UNLV Houston keeps adding playmakers to their defense with the pick of Brimmer.
51
Kirk Morrison
(ILB) San Diego State The Seahawks defense has been overachieving and they need to plug a consistent linebacker into the middle.
52
Bill Swancutt
(DE) Oregon State Swancutt made a name for himself in the LSU game and has shown a non-stop motor and good speed.
53
Anthony Alabi
(OT) TCU After missing on Orlando Brown, the Ravens need to bring in a RT for the future.
54
J.R. Russell
(WR) Louisville The Jags cannot expect Jimmy Smith to play forever.
55
Kevin Everett
(TE) Miami (Fl) The one thing the Rams are missing on offense, a tight end.
56 C.J. Brooks
(OG) Maryland Chris Snee has been a pleasant surprise, but the Giants must solidify the other side of the center too.
57 Cedric Houston
(RB) Tennessee What does the future hold for the Colts and Edgerrin James?
58 James Butler
(S) Georgia Tech The Vikings secondary has been playing well, but they can’t expect these guys to play above their ability forever.
59 Vince Carter
(C) Oklahoma If and when Tom Nalen retires, Carter will be waiting in the wings.
60 David Baas
(OG) Michigan The Falcons have done an amazing job considering the talent on their line.
61 Kay Jay Harris
(RB) West Virginia Will the Bus finally park it after this season? Harris can start as Duce's back-up and play down the road.
62 Ben Wilkerson
(C) LSU The Pats find Wilkerson sitting at the bottom of the 2nd and decide they’ll find a place for him.
63 Lance Mitchell
(ILB) Oklahoma How does Lance fall this far? The Eagles end his suffering.
64 Antwaun Rogers
(CB) Purdue
The Jets continue to add to their secondary with Rogers.

Cedric Benson #2? He didn't look like a #2 when he played against Adrian Peterson and the Sooners.

Isn't Rodrick Wright overrated?

I'm thinking were going Dline with our first pick . . . and I'm afraid Wright will be like every Texas player . . . a dud.

If we passed on Mathias Kiwanuka to take another RB I would absolutely go postal.

Yeah, I know, but I'm not concerned with him! I'd much rather grab a talented WR with our second 1st and a young FS with 2nd rounder, but everyone has there wishlist. Here is what I'd love to happen this off-season. Be very aggresive.

Round 1
Derrick Johnson
and
Braylon Edwards

Round 2
Donte Nicholson
or
Webster DB from LSU (I know he has a 1st round rating, but has been disappointing this year! Could fall!
FA
John Abraham
and
Shuan Rodgers

We're not taking another RB that early . . .

That pick from the mock made no sense.

Cedric Benson, at best, will be a late First Round pick.

I'd be happy with that mock, but I would rather have Erasmus James or Elton Brown at 32 considering we already have Andrews and Thomas at tackle for a few seasons.

And yes I know you don't care.

next draft blows up the trade.

We desparately need a few stud Dline prospects. I'll take LB and a DT.

Try to get best impact FS/WR/CB in 2

*Haloti Ngata
(DT) Oregon The Redskins grab this huge tackle to lock up blockers for LaVar Arrington.

Were gonna be drafting higher than 15

As Hostile will push Mike Wlliams all day every day, I push this behemoth Ngata

6'5" 345 and runs in the mid to high 4.8 range..awesome power and a motor that doesnt quit

If this guy declares, he and Derrick Johnson would be an awesome start to the draft proceedings

If Erasmus James slips to early 2, move up and get him ASAP

Problem is, we dont have a third to do so--but I wont complain about not having that pick

Johnson, Ngata, James and a new DC, Idres Bashir

A darn good start

Id love to get Rogers and Ngata both in the middle and trade Glover but that steps on too many toes here

Rolle
Johnson
Williams
Webster
Edwards
Great Pass rusher

If Cincinnati finsishes with a worse record than the Bills, Rolle not making it past Cincy is the surest thing in this draft

Heck, Ciny hasnt had a decent CB since Eric Thomas and Lewis Billups

Cedric Benson, at best, will be a late First Round pick.

......bet?

We aren't taking Cadillac... it will be DL or CB at that point...

I do like the intrigue of Johnson... he and Thornton could be a nice tandem...

Mocks this early on are funny enough -- when the draft order isn't even close to being set and we have no idea who will even be in the draft... but a two round mock draft???

Someone has way too much time on his hands.

Cedric Benson #2? He didn't look like a #2 when he played against Adrian Peterson and the Sooners.Put Cedric Benson on Oklahoma's offense against Texas' defense and he'll go for 230 yards too. Put Peterson on Texas' offense against OU's defense and he'll struggle. I don't think Benson is a #2 pick but I bet he goes top 10.

I'm in the Pac-10 country and I like Ngata. I prefer we address DT in FA. (Shaun Rogers) I wouldn't hate it if we got him.

Williams and Kiwanuka are still my favorite hope. But I wouldn't mind Derrick Johnson or Antrel Rolle. Those 4 are my favotire picks for this team. Any of the 4 would make my day. 2 of the 4 would cause my wife to seek asylum.
