Look at what the Giants fans are doing...they said that on there sport radio they have a inside source that saying the giants will give the falcons a 1st round and 3rd round to do this trade ... the only problem ifs that the giants are willing to pay D-Hall a contract that equals 7-8 million a year like the seahawks are trying to do with Marcus Trufant
They said that d-hall was asking for 10 mil a year but his representative is seeing that Asante Samuel is not going to get as huge of a contract that they thought he would....so d-halls agent may take that deal

That's the thing with Hall. It's no secret that he's been toasted on a number of occasions. It's also no secret that the Falcons were never known for a dominant front 7.
I'm not real thrilled with the idea of facing that pass rush and an athlete like Hall at CB twice a year. Hall needs a dominant rush to be considered the elite CB that he wants to be. This kid could be scary behind that line.
Hate all you want, but Hall is a world class athlete. If he only has to cover for 3.5 seconds as opposed to 4.5-5.0 he could end up being a beast in that defense.

How many sacks did that "dominant front 7" have against the Cowboys dominant O-line and Mr Romo in 3 games last year? I know they had like 12 in one game against the eagirls...

no way dude can i fully agree with that. A world class athlete??? why because he's fast? I'm not going to say that he sucks but he's not physical at all and for someone with all that speed he doesn't have any recovery speed when he botched a play and has to catch up. i uderstand with a pass rush like the giants have a corner can be great but with the way Hall plays now it's gonna take him awhile to get use to our quick recievers because we run alot of slants and quick cuts to allow us to counter a strong pass rush

Actually if you paid attention this season, the Cowboys use more 5 and 7 step drops than possibly any team in the league. We didn't use the slants and quick cuts as many times as you think.
I'll put it to you this way. If the Giants can be effective with a dinosaur like Madison at CB, they could be scary with a guy like Hall. That's just how I see it.

actually when we went up aginst defences with great pass rush i.e. redskins eagles, the first giants game, bears. we used alot of cuts and slants to get the ball off fast. but if we went up aginst that didn't have a strong pass rush then we kept it deep. look a t.o and craytons YAC in the games with defences with a strong pass rush

My problem is that Hall will have plenty of help w/Webster, Ross & Co. I was hoping so badly that Ross would fall to us last year, then the freaking Gints take him one pick ahead of us.
Hopefully, we can take Cromarte, another quality corner, and a SS like Josh Barrett in the draft, to more than make up for any gain they make.

The Giants were credited with 3-4 sacks in those three games and 2 of them came in the playoff game. So their pass rush, until the fourth quarter of the playoff game, wasn't even a factor against us.
