He played well in relief of the injuries there with a couple of 100 yard games in a row. We resign Barber, sign Stecker and maybe bring in a Reshard Lee as a third man we look pretty solid there.

Pass.

Think we can do a lot better.

Personally I think with all of this potential in the draft we would be dumb to not pick one of these guys up unless our plan is to bring in a vet and let Tyson Thompson go.

Stecker? Sure. As a 3rd RB (and we draft a complimentary back to Barber). He's a veteran RB who can do it all. And he can be a returner as well. I'd prefer this to the Bell rumor, actually.

All you need to know is that the Saints are hurting at RB and they're letting him walk.

Thank you, Micky Spagnola.

I like him better than Bell, but would consider him no better than a #3. Still need to take one of these young RB's in this draft class.

Are they hurting at RB? They still have McCallister and Bush. Maybe they should not be counting on those two, but they do have them on their roster.

McCallister has torn his ACL before and I dont know what he injured this year but it was season ending.

It wouldn't shock me to see this guy as a June 1st cut.

Stecker is no scrub. The Saints got much better when he started the last few games and ran for a ton of yards. He would be a nice 3rd down back, maybe even a backup. I think our first round picks will be better used on corner and wideout instead of a dime a dozen RB. Get one in FA.

that's my thinking. unless we go after turner or a legit back, anyone else would be fighting for 3rd string. now if better than tyson, great. do it but it's not a must do.

He'd be a good 3rd possibly 2nd rb.
