Two of the funniest signings so far. Especially Bruce becoming a Niner. :lmao2:
Adam Schefter reported the Bruce signing on NFLN and
Bernie Miklasz of the St.Louis Post Dispatch said Josh Brown agrees to a 5 year deal with the Rams.

Wow... that was fast. Not sure signing Bruce helps them at wr, but he can hold the fort down for a year or two while they try and draft another wr bust.
Josh Brown was a good signing since they can't really score... they can always kick it from from far away and score.

Why is the Bruce signing funny?
Mike Martz and Scott Linehan used to coach him in St Louis.
He knows the system like the back of his hand.
Bruce can still play. Not at a #1 WR level but can be a solid #2 IMO. Yet he will probably be the #1 in SF because they have nobody.
He still runs routes very very well.
And also Jef Wilkins just retired so the Rams needed a kicker.

I am not clowning Isaac Bruce as a receiver. He's very good at what he does. I just think it's funny that he's going to be in a 49er uniform since they've been rivals for years. Remember Bruce was an LA Ram also.

True, never looked at it that way.
But im sure the fact that Linehan and Martz are now there was pretty much the sole reason he went there.

Also, Bruce had spoken of his dislikes for the 49ers in public before so it's a funny situation right now. Money talks i guess.

Too bad Bruce couldn't retire in St. Louis. I always liked him.

Bruce was a nice pick up for the Niners. He can be a real solid #2, possession type guy if they draft them someone to go along with him.
Brown makes sense since the Rams kicker retired on them today, I believe.

If you didn't know, Seattle did offer him a huge contract but Josh turn it down anyway because he doesn't want to be in Seattle anymore so they let Josh walk away
