Was looking over the Q&A section of Goose's latest article and ran across a very truly disgurntled cowboys fan :).

Q: If you write another story on how great this Eagles team and franchise is, I'm going to puke. They are the team to beat in the weak NFC, but you need to remember in their sorry history, they have won no Super Bowls and have lost countless big games. If they make it to the big dance this year against Indianapolis or New England, they will crumble. Your reports are top-notch, but I'm tired of hearing about the Eagles.

Disgruntled Cowboys Fan

GOSSELIN: Jean-Jacques Taylor and Todd Archer cover the Cowboys. As the NFL writer, it's my job to cover the other 31 teams. I tend to write about the good teams, especially good teams in the same division with the Cowboys. In the early 1990s, readers complained I wrote too much about the 49ers. In the mid-1990s, they complained that I wrote too much about the Packers. Lately the complaints have been about the Eagles and the Patriots. Maybe the Eagles will get to the NFC title game and lose again. Or even the Super Bowl. But as a fan, would you want your team to get there and lose or finish 5-11 and never get a whiff of the postseason? Most fans would prefer their teams be competitive every year. And I'll continue to write about those teams.

Yess, Goose has to cover the 31 other teams. But he was so high on the Skins all off and preseason, oh the talent!, oh the talent! and now there's so much Iggles worship coming from him...it makes me sick too, even if he is doing his job.

I'm scared the Eagles might be on to something. But remember, the one thing they have not had to deal with this year, is injuries. They finally have one in Westbrook. Say what you want, he is the leading rusher and second leading receiver. Dorsey Levens cannot hold that down.

There is a reason only one team in NFL history has gone undefeated the whole way through. There have been plenty of teams good enough to do it over the years. The Dolphins had luck on there side. In todays NFL, injuries and parity make it next to impossible, no matter how easy your schedule is.

By the way, it seems awful funny how the NFL schedule makers gave the Eagles their toughest games (Vikings, Ravens) in Philly. How convenient.

Yeah...and we got the opposite. Whatever happened to the 1st place team getting a tougher schedule. Oh, I know that rule changed when the leauge expanded. But the 1st placed Eagles did get home field advantage from the tougher teams.

All the more reason to laugh at them when they choke again. Can't wait for Monday night.

One other thing, beside our injuries this year, which sucks...Anyone notice that each team we have played have had a rash of injuries from our games also ? Seems strange but is probably a coincidense.

Actually in our current format of 16 games no team has went undefeated.

To be honest I'd rather hear about teams on the way up, that are fighting for a division, or a good bet to get into the Wild Card Race.

I am far more interested in teams that I can't name half of their starters.

The Detroit Lions, the NewYork Giants, some teams that have surprising offensive or defensive production, players that I might not have heard of that are having great years, all of those things are interesting.

McNabb, TO, Mcnabb, TO, Cullpepper, Moss, Cullpepper, Moss, BORING!!! That is sheer laziness! Why would you talk about guys everyone knows, guys we have to hear about every Sunday from the pregame shows every bloody sunday.

To sum it up: TELL ME SOMETHING I DON'T KNOW!!!

Not me, I've never written to Goose. I don't mind stuff about other teams, just don't want a bunch of it on the CowboysZone during he season. That's why we have the NFL Zone.

LOL Mike, that is funny! I, too, am so sick of hearing about the Eagles and especially Owens. Can we let them win just one Super Bowl before we annoint them as a great anything?
