Olbermann, what a left wing fanatic, can't stand the guy myself,
It would kill him, if McCain won the election, to be honest this hype over the truth and what is suppose to be politically correct is being way over blown and is not helping Democratic cause.
I believe that both Democratic nominees are imploding in front of our very eyes.
Good thing no one watches his show or better yet the network

What a hypocrite I am, was going to write I never watch that guy, yet I did late last night browsing through the channels (How this guy is allowed to do sports with a politicle agenda is also beyond me).
Anyhow he was talking about some Christian preacher who endorsed McCain and how it will hurt him badly in the general election. He asked a correspondent what he thought and he mentioned it was no different that what has happened lately with Clinton's (black issue) and Obama and his preacher issue. Really said it shouldn't matter in the long run to any of the candidates.
Olbermann went nuts saying there is a BIG difference between the Democratic candidates and McCain's endorsements, but when pressed as to what they were gave no explanation at all and went into Bush bashing.
The guy is a tool, although he is funny and not afraid to not answer a question when pressured...lol.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Oberman a news anchor, for a news network. Where as O'Reilly, has his own one hour show, he's not reporting on the news of the day.

Overthetop man has his show just as OnotReally does.
OtheTop may rip on the pres or candidates, however ONotReally does his fair share of over the top stuff as well.
To approve on one and not the other is only because of the party you support. Both are arrogant buffoons who often spin away towards their agendas.
Oh and by the way tough guy...I watch mostly Fox News channel. The only time I watch overthetopman is either on the internet or during primary and general election times to see polling numbers. I will switch between msnbc and fox to see if the numbers are similar or not.

“ I'm not a political guy in the sense that I embrace an ideology. To this day I'm an independent thinker, an independent voter, I'm a registered independent (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_independent) ... there are certain fundamental things that this country was founded upon that I respect and don't want changed. That separates me from the secularists (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secularism) who want a complete overhaul of how the country is run." ” — Bill O'Reilly

See...we are now on the same page.:laugh1:
But him talking over his guests DOES happen quite a bit. He has also threatened callers on his radio show and have said some over the top, IMO, things to his on air guests.
I tell you it is funny because there are MANY times I agree with his takes on issues but find myself being disgusted about how he goes about it or the lack of class he shows his guests.
When he is calm, does not spin his own agenda, I have no problem with him.
However this guy is just as bad as overthetop man but just in different ways.

The reason...as pompous, as arrogant, as spinning as he is Keith is better at holding his temper and Bill is used to getting his way and throwing tantrums.
That is the major difference between the two IMO.
Bill really does lose his temper in his self righteousness where Keith just stays on his high horse with arrogance and holier than thou attitude, but does not lose his temper on the tube like bill does.

There's a BIG, HUGE difference between O'Reilly and the brain-dead Olberman......
O'Reilly has talent, for one. He loves his country for another. Olberman is/has neither........
How he fenagled his way into ESPN to begin with is beyond me. He smacks of the ultimate "never played the game" fairy who probably played in the band, or was a cheerleader. He was the guy over in the corner at the frat party, wearing a sweater with a collared shirt underneath, badmouthing the "jocks" who got all the girls.
Anyway, he apparently is one of the "biggies" in the baseball card collection crowd............which appears to be enough to get a job at ESPN.
Since then, because he has no talent, personality or charm...............he's cozied up to the uber-left "with-it" chic crowd in New York..............and it landed him a job at PMSNBC. Of course, the uber-left NBC Sports decided to insert him into Sunday Night football, and all he has to offer is the "bad guy of the week".
That's what psycho-libs do and think...............something bad or wrong. It's his DNA and M.O.
He's an idiot, and an example of how desperate PMSNBC is in trying to unseat O'Reilly (of whom they put Olbermann up against). And he gets WAXED 15-1 every night for viewers.
Say whatever you want about O'Reilly. But he's the NO. 1 show on cable (and competes with NBC, CBS and ABC) nightly. BY FAR!!! NOT EVEN CLOSE!!! CAN'T ARGUE WITH STATS!!!!!!!
Don't embarrass yourself by mentioning O'Reilly and Olbermann in the same sentence.................

Yeah, he's the right's worst nightmare, an intelligent and articulate spokesman for the left... kind of an honest Rush Limbaugh, if you will...

Good thing no one watches his show or better yet the network

Uhhh, in case you didn't notice, this time he berated Hillary... that's what he does in those commentaries, he rips on the political figures that he thinks has done wrong... this includes both Democrats and Republicans, though these days the Republicans have found themselves in his crosshairs more often, that's because of the sheer level of malfeasance they've treated us to during the Dubya years...
To be honest I'm so repulsed by MSNBC, I never watch it
Of course you don't, you probably get all of your news from Faux... guys like you are too SCARED to listen to responsible opposing viewpoints, I can only conclude that you're worried that if you were forced to closely examine your political beliefs, you'd have to change those beliefs...
Me, I watch right wing news, I listen to right wing talking heads on the radio (more often than I listen to left wing talking heads on the radio), I even read the garbage that Ann Coulter spews... I do that because I believe that you need to know your enemy, to effectively deal with that enemy...
But guys like you, all you want to hear is the party line... you're not really interested in taking a close look at what you believe, so you don't want to hear what others think...
From all appearances, it would seem that being close-minded is a requisite for being a right winger...

People naturally congregate towards the viewpoints and shows that more align with their personal beliefs on things. To say that somehow O'Reilly is smarter or better in some form or fashion just because he has millions of people nodding along to his rantings doesn't mean he is right or better in any way.
The same goes for Olbermann.

Can you explain this a little Brain ? Are you talking about the fact the he is on as a balance to Bill ? And if they didn't need the balance he would not be on at all ?
I've heard that said about Air America, but I wasn't sure if that was where you are going with this ?
That is part of it because clearly both channels slant to each side.
However Keith also has to rip on bill a great deal. I see listings of his clips on youtube and it would seem he does it quite a bit.
Another thing to consider is someone like Stephen Colbert and the colbert report who flat out says it is Bill that is the inspiration for his character and show.
