Before Doc Brown's breakthrough mod -- the flux capacitor -- the iconic DeLorean DMC-12 was the "it" car for movie producers, record execs and other dirtbags. But this car is capable of so much more. Not only can you impress the ladies along the Sunset Strip, but you can also outrun terrorists, thwart high school bullies, and resolve oedipal issues.

Available Options: Deluxe edition runs on trash and doesn't need roads.

Depending on your definition of "film", I would say the 1969 Dodge Charger from "The Dukes of Hazzard".

I have some strange tastes on movie cars maybe. Here are ten, but not really in any order. Just cars I love.

1. I definitely gotta say the Mustang from "Bullitt."

2. The black Charger in "The Fast and the Furious."

3. The Trans Am in "Smokey and the Bandit."

4. The Deuce Coup in "American Graffiti."

5. Elwood's car in "The Blues Brothers."

6. The blue Shelby Cobra in "Gumball Rally."

7. The white T-bird in "American Graffiti."

8. The Corvette in "Corvette Summer."

9. Bond's Aston Martin in "Goldfinger."

10. The black '55 Chevy in "American Graffiti."

Can you tell I like that movie?

Black 55 Chevy in American Graffiti.

I knew the guy who used to own that car for years.

He actually kept it in his garage instead of a more secured location.

You have to include one of the coolest cars...the black hemi-cuda from the Phantasm II movie...love that car.
I found a video clip of it, but it was too long and had some parts from the movie not suitable for the forum.

Also no love for the car in Mad Max and Road Warriors...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6Vw402IaII

What about a cheesy movie but cool car from the movie Wraith...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0q8ret-TL0w

And who can forget from animal house...

I gotta give you serious credit for the Animal House pic though. That is one I would definitely add.

That wasn't even the best car in that movie.

Read up about it a bit... the Mustang had all these mods done to it, and the '68 charger was pretty much bone stock, yet the Mustang kept breaking the suspension, and the charger didn't have any problems (from doing all the jumps in SF).

That movie literally LAUNCHED the Dodge Charger into fame (w/o Bullit, there is not Charger in Dukes of Hazzard), yet there's no Charger on the list?

Please.

I saw a show once where you can buy those cars. They make them for you just like eleanor. Quite expensive of course but still those are some sharp cars.

Now...for me, I just want a new camaro if they ever come out. It MIGHT be in my price range, probably not, but since I had a 68 back when I was a teenager it holds something special for me.
