She then went Solo to have a VERY successful career.
A true Enchantress. A signature voice.

There's only one singer whose voice grates on me worse than her's, and that's Tina Turner.

Just not my cup of tea.

I remember seeing a picture her for the first time when I was in Jr High back in 1982. I was totally smitten. In her prime Stevie was as hot as any female vocalist.

Its ok to be a Fleetwoodmac fan if your a guy right?

If so I like them. I'd definetely download one of their CD's. Probably not buy though.

Interesting little factoid-- many years ago, the Russians decided they were going to let a rock band tour their country... for whatever reason, they settled on the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, at the time in their phase where they were just calling themselves the Dirt Band... but the Russians wanted any band to have a female lead singer, so they went out and got Stevie to tour with them over there...

I have a difficult time imagining her singing with them, and have never even heard of a bootleg from that tour... I'd love to hear a tape of it...

And no, though I enjoy the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, they would not have been MY idea of a "rock band"...
