(CNN) (http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/meast/04/03/zawahiri.message/index.html) -- The second-in-command of al Qaeda has said the terrorist group does not kill innocents and that its leader Osama bin Laden is healthy, according to a transcript of an audio tape released by radical Islamist Web sites.

Well we know part one is a bald faced lie, and some here would say Osama is alive, but I think the correlation of both statements is a pattern of what he's trying to assert: alternate views of reality.

They also referred to attacks by al Qaeda and affiliated groups that have killed scores of civilians in Muslim nations, such as Algeria, Iraq and Morocco.

Al-Zawahiri, who led an Egyptian Islamic militant group that joined forces with bin Laden in the 1990s, said innocents who have been killed in attacks by al Qaeda or affiliated groups died as a result of "unintentional error" or because they were used as "human shields" by "the enemy."

Al-Zawahiri defended a December attack in Algeria -- hospital sources said it killed 60 people -- because one of its targets was a United Nations building and the "United Nations is an enemy of Islam and Muslims," according to the transcript.

So therefore, they weren't innocent...

He said "bin Laden is healthy and well," the transcript said, but that even if he "doesn't become ill, he must die one day."

Well if he doesn't become ill, what must he die of?

Was it George Constanza that made the statement, "It is not a lie if you believe it."?

These extremists truly believe that anyone not with them is an enemy and therefore is not innocent. With that type of morose thinking it is easy for him think that they don't kill innocents. He is wrong of course, but you can never convince him otherwise.

We need a few more with a cowboy mentality. They can say what they want about it but it's true, this world would be better off if people in America would stop being content to take crap from other nations.

It doesn't matter if we nuke them, they are going to keep committing terrorist attacks. We could move all of our troops back in the US and they are going to find something whine about and something to blow up.

And of course the libs have to try and deflect the thread to something on their agenda.
Otherwise they would have to admit that those like Osama can only be stopped in one way=and that would change their world view and they would

Wow, it's bad enough that they're savage murderers, they're LIARS too??!?
