Roy Williams - WR, Detroit Lions
Oct. 29, 4:40 p.m.

ESPN reports that Williams (ankle) did not practice on Friday and is not expected to play this Sunday vs. the Cowboys.
Fantasy Source spin: Bummer, dude. Unless something miraculous happens over the weekend, you'll have to find another starting option this week.

Good news for us, this should help out injury plagued defense out a bit. Whew! LOL

I'll take a gift like this with no problem whatsoever. This should even out the game for us defensively and give our guys one less star to worry about.

Ya know, it's really sad that we get happy that another team's star has gone down because our chances are bleak with that particular star in the game. How I long for the good ol days when the Cowboys feared no man, and no team.

If Roy Williams had been in the game, I could have definitely seen him having a performance similar to that sad Thanksgiving Day game when a former rookie came in and torched us for 3 TD's. What was that guy's name? It was #84. Remember that guy?

I feel bad for him since this would have been a homecoming for him. His first pro game in Texas. On the other hand, it may tip the odds just a wee bit in our favor.

Now watch Swinton come back to haunt us in some capacity.

I do too. The days where no one offered to bet you 5 on the game because they knew the deck was stacked.

Wow, we caught a break. If Roy was playing our secondary was about to get used. But now I believe we will win this game. And maybe not go on a roll and we can maybe match our win output from last season, Maybe.

I see BP is supposedly going to give George more carries, maybe that will help too. We could have been doing that before Lee got hurt, using both Lee and EG. So now we are really down to just one back he decides to run, (yes I know we have Richie) but I am not comfortable with Richie running the ball alot, receiving I'll take that.

WE will see how this crap of a season so far turns out.

The Lions are 4-2, wow! we may just get a pay back from last season, but without Roy it will be hard for them to do that.
Last season we had only one loss when we went into their house and drove them.

Can we say Hello Charles Rodgers? It will be Rogers over Newman all day, then we'll get to deal with some absolute noname that they'll be testin the waters on the other side with. This will also probably be the game that Kevin Jones gets showcased and steps it up, just because he's someone we could've had.

This changes nothing on my prediction of us getting our a**es whipped this week. Our old guys will be bent over huffing their lungs out come the 4th quarter and the Lion's young guys will just be getting their 2nd wind.

Last 3 years;
Hutch- an embarrassing fumbling loss
Quincy- possibly the best game of his career.
Vinny- time will tell, but couldn't one consider him a New York QB, and marriouschi{sp} has never lost as a lion against a NY team. And I would definaltly say we could consider ourselves a NY team nowadays, lol. The New York Tuna-Cowboys, doh.

Rogers is on IR

It'll be Tai Streets, Reggie Swinton and possibly Az Hakim if he is healthy. Don't count out Williams out just yet. He played hurt last week.

LMAO, uniformed to the bitter end.

Charles Rogers (not Rodgers) was placed on Injured Reserve meaning he is not playing football for the Lions in 2004.

No wonder that bus crashes.

People do not get excited. He is listed as questionable and not any worse than last week. Until he is offcially listed as "out" it would be safe to assume he is playing.

The Detroit Free Press reports Williams tweaked his injured ankle and has practiced little this week. It's unclear whether he'll play vs. the Cowboys

Looks like if he does play, he will be gimpy.

I bet he will play. Too many Odessa friends headed to the game for him to miss it. He might have to take the needle, but he'll play.

You Dallas Cow Pies better expect him to play. It might not be the whole game, maybe just 10-15 plays - enough to get 3TD's or so. Last weekend he played limping a managed a TD.

The injury the Lions are most concerned about is Az-Hakim. He was our "fastest non-injured" wide receiver and without him we have Tai Streets running the Z which is not good because although Tai has great hands and runs routes well - he has trouble getting open.

If Williams does not play, then you will definitly owe the Devil something. It's just wrong that Roy Williams and Charles Rogers should BOTH be out with injury when it's time to play "America's team".

Roy is probaly going to play, he played hurt last week and like Boss said was limping and still came down with a good TD catch. Made those CB's look silly.

Anyway good luck with your injuries lord knows i have dealt with them so much with the lions.
