Police Officer Unknowing Joins Presidential Race

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - There was a new addition to the Presidential race, and the candidate lives in middle Tennessee.
Channing Bartel, from Clarksville, is running for President. It wasn't the Clarksville police officer's decision to jump into the race, but it was rather his friends' decision. Bartel's friends were disappointed with the selection of candidates.
When Bartel was out of town his friends set up a website and kicked off the campaign.
Bartel, a retired Army sergeant with 20-years experience, said he's in on the joke now, and he will "even kiss babies" if he has too.
So far Bartel does not have any campaign stops scheduled, but he does have a slogan: "I'll beat the American back into you."
I love his slogan!
