22. Dallas Cowboys (From Cleveland) - Mike Jenkins (CB) South FloridaAnalysis: Jenkins was considered the top Senior Cornerback before the emergence of Leodis McKelvin and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, but still have the best size/speed ratio to become a lock-down Corner at the next level. Jenkins has the most impressive game film of any Cornerback in this class. http://www.nmnathletics.com.edgesuite.net/pics14/200/CH/CHDHTYNVWEQQRYZ.20051122190713.jpg
28. Dallas Cowboys - James Hardy (WR) IndianaAnalysis: The Cowboys must begin to take note the Terrell Owens will soon turn 34 and have no complementary weapons surrounding him. Hardy has had his character questioned, but, if a meeting with Jerry Jones goes well, Hardy will be welcomed in Big D by Tony Romo and the rest of the offense. http://graphics.fansonly.com/photos/schools/ind/sports/m-footbl/auto_headshot/1228150.jpeg

I would of loved this mock if it would not of been spoiled with that 3rd round selection.

Great mock.
Pick a DT/NT, where that ILB is and it would be even better.
I LOVE ME SOME ME!

I didn't either until i remembered we have Tank and Ratliff.

I'd still rather start Ratliff at end.

I would love to see Dallas pluck Josh Johnson in the 3rd. We need to think about picking up a long term prospect to groom behind Tony and this guy fits the bill. He put up some stats that are impressive no matter where he played. He has been climbing up draft boards.

Yup, I like this too. Not too sure about the Josh Johnson pick though. And definitely need to address NT.

I love it, and would take that in a heartbeat. Address CB,WR, RB needs with first 3 picks. You can afford to take a gamble with Josh Johnson...Need to start developing someone behind Romo....Throw in a 5th rounder for PacMan and this is looking great.

Why the heck would we take Josh Johnson in the 3rd round? The kid will go to a team that plans to play him, not one that plans to put him on the bench for the next 6 years of his life.
Unless we've got some new 2 QB sets we're planning on running.
Outside of that, great draft.

Substitute Ahtyba Rubin with Josh Johnson and I am more than pleased with that mock.

You had me til #126
There should be a couple of safeties (Morgan,Demps,Zbikowski) to consider at that spot, and we could grab Matt Flynn/QB/LSU with #235.

What would we do with Matt Flynn? Water boy?

My question is "Will Charles have the same problems w/ fumbling that he had in college?" If so, I'd rather have Ray Rice or even Peyton Hillis...

One of the best drafts so far. So glad to see Felix Jones not there in the first.

very strong mock.
btw, there are like 4 NT in the draft so it can be hard to grab one without reaching.

those safeties are considered special teams only prospects.

zilch.
I did a pod cast a few weeks back discussing the NFCE and all the NFCE teams were targeting Hardy but I only suggested a few names, positions we might target.
I did mention RB/WR/CB(even with Pac Man as that was asked) and a QB to backup Romo with Johnson being 80 and the kid from SMU not able to hit the broad side of a barn.
I certainly didn't mention ILB:)

Agreed.
And doesn't Tommy Black have some mental issues? I'd stay away from him if so.

Not only that is J Leman seems a bit undersized. The kid is a baller there is no doubt. He's a HIGH HIGH character guy and will give you everything he has no matter the situation. I just don't know if he could play ILB in the 3-4 or not, but if you're taking a chance on someone he'd be a hell of a guy to take a chance on. I would promise you he would be one of our special team ace's. The only bad thing I can say about him is his size. Other then that he is Dat Ngyuen type of player (I'm pretty sure he's bigger then Dat though). Excellent in coverage, tackling, and leadership. It all depends on his size.

Unfortunately the draft won't fall anything like this. The Pacman trade will throw a monkey wrench into this entire scenario.

I can see the natural comparison to Zach Thomas and it makes sense to say hey Dallas wanted the original why not.
All the same if we take an ILB I'll retch. I know it is hard for Wade and BP to see this but there are other positions in football, rofl.
