Well I was playing basketball tonight at the gym, and I was on a fastbreak, mmy teammate lobbed the ball to me and i caught it underneath the hoop, caught it, came down on my right leg, and my knee buckled to the inside and then it felt like everything twisted towards the outside.

it hurt like nothing ive felt before but i did not feel anything tear or pop.

my father, and sister have both tore both of their ACLs and i am PRAYING its not that.

My buddies came and got me from the gym or else it would have been a $800 ambulence ride, and while i was walking out, very very slowly. I could feel something kind of like swishing on the outside (right) of my knee.

I am praying to GOD its not an ACL becuase i dont think i could live without playing sports for that long. and oh yeah, the medical bills.

hopefully it is just a knee sprain.

anyone have a clue about these things?

If money and insurance is an issue, why didn't your friends take you to a county funded hospital?

When I was young I ignored body building injuries and sports mishaps and I regret to this day not getting medical attention ASAP.

Go to the Doctor... soon.

I am not trying to give you advice, I am speaking out of wisdom and experience.

Let us know what you decide.

Well I have medical insurance and stuff but I am a college student. :)

One of my teachers is a physical therapist so I will be going to him tomorrow.

That sounds like something I had when I did a spinning roundhouse in my gym during training and sprained the ligaments in my ankle. However I heard a delicious "pop" when I landed.

Obviously you had on the wrong pants to execute a proper roundhouse kick to the face. That'll learn ya!
