Yeah, I remember Skins fans railing against Dallas for losing so bad to New England, although up to that point Dallas was the only team to even scare the Pats. Then they go out and get obliterated. Good times.

What's even more funny is that some skins fans out here believe they were the best NFC East that was capable of beating the Patriots AFTER they loss 52-7 to them. Simply hilarious. I was in an argument with one of them last week and did my best to not laugh.

I remember one fan on ES saying after the game that at least they were the only team not to get destroyed by the pats, and they played competitive, the scored just looked bad. haha

Exactly. I heard a lot from those idiots after the Dallas game. They weren't saying much after their own little debacle, however. It definitely serves them right though. Had the roles been reversed, there's no way I would have been talking trash knowing that the Pats were unstoppable at the time and that we still had to play them.
Our game was pretty bad still. Even though we were in it at one point, they pretty much trounced us on our own turf. I hope the new stadium gives us more of a home field advantage than the current one has been doing recently.

Yeah... one ES poster said something like the Pats had trouble scoring and couldn't get any long plays but instead had to drive the ball down the field on long drives.
:laugh2:
Still has to be one of the most delusional posts ever... even from ES.
I think someone here had that quote as their sig.

Here we have 2 redskin clowns who are spending there time on a Cowboys forum for 3 and 2 years ..... telling Cowboy fans that they are obsessed with the Skins.
You are the ones who are registered on our board ...... who is obsessed with who again?
(we need new trolls ...... these are too easy)

Do not believe that at all ....
But we are talking about you boys on here ..... saying Cowboy fans on here (not on ES) are obsessed with the Redskins.
Yet you boys took time to register at this Cowboys forum ..... why is that again?

B/c I like talking football. Unlike some posters -- not mentioning names -- I try to be objective and engage in some kind of thoughtful discussion -- although I do get fired up from time to time and get drawn into a flame-war. I try to ignore those types more often then not.

It could mean that there are more Cowboys fans than Redskins fans and the surplus is reflected in that way. It could mean that ES is a bigger site that has been established longer and has advertising and team backing while we are younger and almost strictly word of mouth. It could mean each site tolerates different things. It could mean Cowboys fans feel it easier to crow about the overall series between the two teams.
Some people enjoy arguing. They will go to a forum where they can fill that joy. Some people enjoy talking football. They will go to a forum where they can fill that joy. Some people enjoy griping about everything and acting like they are cool and the rest of the world is beneath them. They will go to a forum where they can fill that joy.
ES has posters who enjoy baiting Cowboys fans into arguments for the entertainment of Redskins fans. Those actions get quashed here usually. There is very little quid pro quo because the 2 sites have different philosophies on how to run. Both philosophies seem to be working for each site.

Nothing at all...
I fully agree -- to say one fan base is more obsessed with another is nothing but an ego-feeding proposition. I think the hate runs equally though both fan bases.

Personally I don't care about, or hate, the Redskins nearly as much as the Eagles or Giants and I probably hate the Niners even more than them, if truth be known.
I just love our rivalry with the Redskins in a more fan being able to needle the other teams fan kind of way. I've never really found myself hating the Skins, or their fans, the way I do with the Eagles, Giants, or Niners.
