The funniest thing to me is that it is a Redskins fan out of Maryland who did that. I love irony.

Redskins fans are a different breed.
I've been a member of the official eagles message board longer than this one. Not sure a week has gone by without a post from me in their ATL section. Now you'd think a Cowboy fan would be in trouble over there and always in danger of getting banned.
No, not even close. I've had hundreds of heated debates over there and not one warning.
Hell, I got a 2 day vaca from this board arguing the merits of signing Owens the day before we did.

I bring this up because I was banned from ES a while back for nothing! I mean NOTHING!
I shouldn't say nothing. I was banned because of Romo's first 4 weeks of 2007. It was too much for the poor redsucks fans to handle.

You don't get banned at ES for profanity or personal attacks. You get banned for not being a redsucks homer.

The a-blanks that run that blank-hole are blanker blankin blank-offs.

Ok my rant is over.

i've never been banned on ES...although I did say I was a cowboys fan, but there were some redskins players that I liked. maybe that appeased them. maybe I justified it with "I'm a girl" and therefore irrational.

That's pretty damned funny.

P.S. I wonder if it's possible to mention the Redskins on here without someone mentioning how much they hate ES or complaining about getting banned for "nothing."

It was the "lamb" part that threw me off, but thanks for confirming my worst suspicions. We really need a pot-kettle-black emoticon, or a seminar on cognitive disonance.

It's from the "special dad" episode where Lois rigged a game of trivial pursuit so Peter would win so Peter thought he was a genius. The next day, he's watching some high-class movie critics and one of them said, "I thought that movie was shallow and pedantic" to which the other responded, "Yes, shallow and pedantic." Peter then called Lois' breakfast shallow and pedantic (pedantic means overobsessed with the esoteric details, see the appendices to the LOTR trilogy where Tolkien describes the hobbit calendar and other such minutae that is literally of zero import).

The funny thing is....when I read that I heard Peter's voice in my head...but I couldn't quite remember where the reference was coming from. lol

I loved it when he kicked in the stall doors in the ladies' restroom, using his "specialness" as an excuse.

The best was the last stall (after he busted in two others) and said, "hey, I'm retarded, didn't you hear the others?" and the lady responds, "oh, you're just curious, let me show you how it all works!"
