Ah... thanks but didn't she do background on lay down sally? I am not sure ?but do you think they sound the same?

Yes, on the credits I found on my albums/CD (and her website), she did.

Honestly, I always thought Stevie Nicks was the backup on Promises, but the credits I found show otherwise.
