Eckhart Agrees To Third Batman Film
23 July 2008 9:10 AM, PDT

Aaron Eckhart would reprise his role from The Dark Knight - because working with Christian Bale is "phenomenal".

Eckhart, who plays District Attorney Harvey Dent in the sequel, confesses he "absolutely" would star in a third Batman film.

He tells WENN, "To work with Christian (Bale) all over again, and the cast, would be phenomenal. I think this movie is a movie of a lifetime."

he wants to. doesn't mean he will.

this is neither for/against if Two-Face is dead. besides, for all we know if he does come back, it can be a flashback or something as harvey dent.

If Gordon can be dead for 30 minutes of the movie and come back, then Dent can come back. That wasnt a far fall, Maroni survived a similar fall, and Batman survived it as well.

On that note, I dont think Ra's Al Gul is dead either. We never see him die, only the train exploding and he flat out said he was immortal.

I think Rachel Dawes will come back as a Supervillain of some kind .....

I think the character in the movie was was based off of Rachel Caspian who in the comics was involved with a romance with Batman and was the daughter of the vigilante the Reaper ..... she became a nun after her fathers death and later became a female Reaper.

It would pretty much ruin the ending of The Dark Knight.

And don't compare Dent's fall to Batman's or Maroni's. Maroni fell feet first. And it's freaking Batman who wears armor.

If Dent was still alive, I don't think Batman would be playing with his face while he's on the ground. If Dent was still alive, I think maybe they'd try to get some medical help or something instead of just talking.

As for Ra's Al Ghul, he meant the symbol Ra's Al Ghul was immortal. The leader of the League of Shadows is known as Ra's Al Ghul. Liam Neeson is probably dead, but the name and symbol of Ra's Al Ghul is immortal.

For the record. I like Bale, Eckhart and company. Really good convincing actors.... but his statement above just sounds like fluff. To work with Bale as Batman was phenomenal?

Come on. HYPE!!!

He's been saying that -- he doesn't want to spoil the film for those who haven't seen it. When I interviewed him last summer in Chicago and this summer in LA, he said the same thing. Hell Maggie says the same thing as well! :laugh2:
