They would be able to cover better. I mean they are terrible at it Dat looks clueless out their, maybe we should employ 6 db's in passing situations. Sorry we dont have that many who can cover either :(

LB's need help diehard2231! Our front 4 is small and ineffective. They aren't keeping the guards and center off our LB's. We need to draft and in free agency find us some big bodies for the front line.

We need to draft and in free agency find us some big bodies for the front line.fletch I agree with that in the scheme zimmer uses against the run, but bottom line LB's in this league need to be able to cover, and the d-line only plays the part in pressuring so they dont have to cover forever.

Sorry we dont have that many who can cover either :( It always amazes me how Dat gets a free ride from Cowboy fans no matter how bad he plays. He was 5 yards behind Schobel on the long pass play and everybody blamed the whole play on Scott and Williams. Dat can do no wrong.

You can't put blame without knowing how that defensive play was supposed to be, where the players were supposed to be, and who they were responsible. Any blame is just speculation.
That said, safeties are supposed to be deep and prevent the big play. Regardless of how the front 7 is on a given play, the safeties should be behind everyone on the field unless they are blitzing.
