View Full Version : Our offensive line...

I like our offensive line. The problem is we haven't used a good RB to put the pressure on the opposing D. Also, Vinny is so un-mobile that we use max protect way too much, limitting our recievers.

I really belive that we need to give the young-uns a chance. Youth also could bring a new enthusism to the whole team and break us outta this slump.

The 1st time that Lee/JJ breaks off a 50+ yarder or Henson/Romo eludes a rush to hit a streaking reciever down the field will boost everyone in the organization and the fan base.

The O-line thrives on run blocking, which also sets up the play fake. I thought we had the formula right last week of run..run..run..

Our D actually played well 2 weeks in a row. 26 points allowed considering 5 offensive turnovers is not too bad.

We must use our O-line more effectively, since its a strenght. Bring back Martin and POUND the ball with Lee/JJ...Why have we seemed to have forgotten we have Larry Allen and the Hotel ? Lets beat teams into submission and blitz our brains out in D.

We can make teams fear us. I would rather try this and go out fighting, than trying to be a fancy pass 1st, run last team.

I'd like to see Jacobs in at RT.

.

unfortunately Martin is on the Dolphins roster and played yesterday for them...I dont know how he's doing there

he should have never been released in the first place, he is ALOT better FB than Darrian Barnes is...

Barnes is a fullback? I didn't think there was a fullback on the roster. Just a trio of slow tail backs.

very hard to evaluate the line with this RB situation. I am holding off judgement.

did Vollers come in for Tucker?

I'm not sure Jacobs has been practicing well enough to be active during game days much less starting.

I think Vollers came in as an extra blocking TE...

That's a valid point.

Eddie George takes so freaking long to hit the hole that you could have an offensive line of Anthony Munoz, John Hannah, Mike Webster, Larry Allen and Rayfield Wright and it wouldn't make much difference.

Jacobs hasn't been practicing well because he doesn't exist. Rogers maybe though. :D

Isn't he Jacobs Rogers?
I'm not sure if you said it as a sarcasm or not.
