QB change would send the message that I'm giving up on the season.
If your guys are costing us games and you stick with them, what message is being sent?
Parcells' arrogance is killing this team.
Can't play Lee because he can't trust him in pass protection. BS.
Can't play the young guys late because the blitz. BS
I won't talk about QB change, you've been asking for 3 weeks and the answer won't change. BS
Jerry does not make personnel changes, I do. BS

It seems that personnel changes are what's also killing this team, among other things.

We are foolish because we want henson.
I guess putting up with crap at QB play is all right
We are stupid because we think Lee would be better
Yet we watch george blow blocking assignments every week on the blitz
I am tired of this and his sticking with the losers old guys no matter what

LOL Here is an idea if you dont wanna put in Lee because of the blitz then take Vinny out cause he cant avoid the blitz and put in henson and lee!

Earth to Bill...this season IS OVER.
At 3-5 it would take us going 6-2 the last 8 games to finish with a winning record. We have Philly twice, Baltimore, Seattle. We will probably lose at least 3 of those games (I'm not sure which one we could win, just being optimistic).
The other four games are against the Bears, Saints, Redskins and Giants. None of them are great, but then neither was 2-5 Cincy and we weren't even competitve (26-3).
So, which six games are we going to win?
Face it, the season is way over.

That's just it, we "layman" don't understand the complexities of football.
We can't send a bad message, even if we are ALREADY sending a message that the rules for MY GUYS don't apply to everyone.
I don't trust Lee in pass protection, but you can trust EG who has screwed up and caused 4 sacks and 2 fumbles and RA that has two sacks in a fumble on his hands.
We "layman" don't understand that the threat of the run and playaction protects the QB from the blitz more than any RB's blocking.
I'm really getting sick of Parcells' act.

This is what I affectionately refer to as "Rick Mirer Syndrome".
The past has shown us that Bill Parcells does not trust young players. The most obvious example was ironically in 1999, the year that Testaverde went down in NY. That year, rather than play the unproven Ray Lucas, Bill traded for Rick Mirer. Start after start he turned in horrible performances, but Bill remained stubborn.
Bill stuck with Mirer through 6 games before he made the switch. How many more 4 turnover performances must we endure from our QB? I would guess at least several more weeks as stubborn Bill continues to insist the playoffs are within reach.
The good news (?) is that this team will be 3-7 in two weeks, and I would think Bill will have an awful difficult time making the case for a playoff season at that point.

He did start Drew Bledsoe his first year though. So maybe he only trusts young players that are good?

Really does not matter if fans give up on the season or not, Bill is going to do things the way he sees fit and yes I still trust his judgement in the long haul over that of fans. Does not mean I agree with everything he does but it does mean in the long run I still feel he will get this team back on top and that on the day he retires he will have left this team in much better shape than it was before he got here.
