screw it up in the game.
Hmm....could it be.... that it works because of the team they are PRACTICING AGAINST?!?!? DUH! It would work against the local Junior Varsity squad also. Come on.

Right, but maybe the reason they execute them well is because the guys they are doing it to aren't making them work very hard. I mean really, with the way our D has played this year our O should be executing well in practice. However, when they go against starting caliber players in real games, they just stink it up.

Ah bullcrap!
He is talking about the players screw it up. Meaning blown assignments, not being were you are supposed to be, etc...
That has nothing to do with your competition, but your focus and concentration.

So you don't think being faster on the field during the game then your practice players are would have an effect on how the play is run? I would assume in practice, Eddie probably averages more than 3.2 yds a carry, or they would try something new or maybe not and thats why we give up on the run so quickly. For some reason we run sweeps with EG in the games, they must see something in practice for them to feel confident enough to gain 0-2 yards. Quote Parcells -"Poorly prepared, played poorly, inefficient, and just awful" I agree!
