As a madden player myself who always plays with ever team I'd have to disagree with you. Even though a lot of players they have in the 90's theres certain things you must look at. Awareness that is the most important thing they shorted Romo on his awareness which lowers the skill level of the team by a lot. IDK how his throw power or accuracy is but the low awareness will dwarf it. IF you like to play with the boys then go right ahead however remember awareness > every other game attribute so when looking at your team look at skill players and their awareness.

Anybody with a high awareness the AI will over compensate for that player.

If you want to throw the best possible passes you would use it. It increases the QB ability a little more and plus there's directional passing in the game. IDK if you guys play with it off or have it on and just throw to a WR thats not in the cone. However cone is better than no cone.

Your right about QB's with 90+ throwing power or accuracy they awareness is will also be up there as will their vision cone. Look at a QB with a throwing accuracy in the 90's and a low awareness and you will see the difference in vision cone and if you have a QB with TP in the 90's with low awareness you can forget. Jake Dellhomme sp? was high on accuracy and awareness power lower than 90 but he could make all the deep pass.

The gameplay is just too unrealistic for me. It sucks that it's the only football game out.

It's really a game that caters to people that go for it on 4th and 20 from their own 40 yard line.

na not even. It's rather easy to pick up defense's read where the double coverage is going. It's how you throw the ball also directional passing is huge.

I had the game for 2 weeks, its ok, cant stop the pass worth **** though. And as usual they added some retarded new feature. This year you cant rewind a bad play and the virtual trainer thats nothing but the mini games on a virtual field.

hahahaha I know what your saying it's becomes frustrating playing on All-Madden sometimes. The comp is stupid some times big runs will open up play action a lot of times and they will bite hard unless of course its the ravens D.....:rolleyes: or Green Bays but yea run opens up the pass. You have to have some pass plays that get yards always. No matter what defense they run.

Most of them time when I pick a pass play I almost never run the intended route hot route on like almost every pass.

Passing seems ridiculously easy but that is probably because I did the Madden test and scored awful on the passing section, making passing easier. I assume it will balance itself out.

I can't stand how easily my defender gets sucked into a block. Also can't stand to see the opposing defender slip a block at the last second and make the tackle. I shouldn't have to run 5 yards outside my blockers to prevent that. If the guy is blocked, he should be blocked.


It will have to grow on me as I learn the game but I really was expecting a little bit more from it.

pretty much if you score great like I did in the first "madden skill test" they make u do,they will overcompensate and be unstoppable with pass D.

I threw 5 ints, 7 ints, and 2 ints in 3 games.

I got all madden level on each of the 4 categories, so the computer is insane, it's pretty much like if you play all madden, and turn the sliders up for the computer even further :(

thats madden for you.... you'd think they would fix those thing.... I hate when i do a swim move to the outside and they force me to go to the inside right in 2 the tackle. When you go around your block try to do a quick joke really fast it wouldn't even be a joke it would be like a little half step.

Bobby Carpenter looks like complete dog crap with the hair they have given him coming out from under his helmet. I know it won't matter much as not even in Madden will Carp make it to the field a whole lot but it is just ridiculous.

I guess its a small complaint but it looks awful. If they aren't going to improve the game, lets improve the looks a little.

i thought the patch was supposed to be out on monday,so everyone could get it when they got the game? what's supposed to be in the patch? i'm hoping it takes strahan off the game and adds players to their right teams and releases guys like bentley that are still on a team.

it's not the 2nd coming. it's a good game and improved from 08. but there are still a lot of the same flaws.

passing way too easy on all-pro. need to try all-madden
sometimes DBs and LBs become paralyzed when the ball is in the air.
madden still hasn't been able to define a true pocket.

one addition that I love is that the receiver icons dissapear when the QB is running out of the pocket or drops back like 20 yards. i hate when people cheese like that online.

The graphics are really cool and its probably by far the best madden they have ever made.

I dont like how they wont let you get rid of the football sometimes though.

I do like that you dont always have infinity amount of time to get rid of the football. The pressure is coming.

Demarcus Ware should be banned on that game. Hes got receiver speed.

The coverage still makes me angry. I hate it when the guy sits perfectly in his zone when there is a receiver just 3 feet away and they get an easy completion.

The coverage on that game isn't very good at all and if you run MAN your going to get killed on crossing routes regardless if you have Newman guarding Joe Blow.

I also dont understand why EA doesnt think NFL Quarterbacks cant lead a receiver a few yards when they have their opponent burnt.

I dont play Franchise or anything like that but from a basic game play standpoint overall I like it. Still needs tinkering that I could see them never ever fixing.

yeah, if you have time, Crossing routes are money.

And Slant routes seem to work regardless of the CB or WR.


And there is lead passing in the game.
