According to experts the two most reliable computers models indicate that Fay, no matter a tropical storm of a Cat. one Hurricane , will make a direct hit to my location here in Tampa area.
So I am preparing for 74 to 95 MPH winds and up to 10 to 12 inches of rain on Tuesday.

Good luck and stay safe. Hopefully it will not be a bad one for you,but no matter the small size, they can still be very dangerous. Hopefully out of this we can get some rain up in Georgia. Everybody talks up here about the drought, and the water problems associated with it. What folks don't seem to realize is that we haven't had the remnants of a TS or hurricane come thru here since Ivan three years ago.Along with the brutal winds we got as far up as the mountains (Google "Peeks Creek Comunity+North Carolina"),there were a few storms that came thru one right after the other. What we realized was our last major rainfall since then, and that has really made a difference in the lake levels around here. These mountains surely must have a veritable ocean of water in them,or they did a couple of years back. My business takes me into the mountains alot, particularly around the North Carolina towns of Highlands and Cashiers, and up until the last year and a half, I would pass numerous waterfalls seemingly coming out of solid rock, there was so much water in the mountains. Now they are all dry. So you can understand my jaded desire to have these storms come our way.
I pray for you and everyone's safety in the path of ANY storm, but send the rain our way.....Please!

Holy cow! I am impressed. I wish you all could see this. Our local weather radar are showing these micro meso cyclones that are spinning off tornadoes around the central low pressure of Fay.

This storm has been pounding us all day,I've had the pool overflow twice
and i'm sure it's overflowing now. The winds are gusting like crazy, some
70 mph gusts and will remain for hours.Well,i can still keep up with what's
going on with the Boys.
