That looks like a photoshop to me. The guy is holding that big snake with one hand, it's still alive and only about a foot away from his face. I would think a live snake that big would have already bitten the crap out of him.

Actually he is holding it with two hands... on the larger photo you can see his hand is on the back of the pole...

Also notice that that pole is bending..

The depth perception is confusing... snake hooks are generally 4 - 5 feet long... it looks to me he is holding it about 3 feet in front of him... while the snake has a striking distance of about a foot...

Who knows for sure...

if that snake bites him in the balls ,his balls will be as big as basketballs ...from oo to OO .
