The Cowboys Super Bowl

This is the Cowboys Super Bowl.

If the Cowboys can somehow manage to defeat the Eagles on Monday night, can you imagine the confidence that would bring to the team? Even if the Cowboys are unable to post a winning record this year, a win would be a huge moral victory.

I think we need to hold NOTHING back...Onside kicks, fakes, whatever we can do to win and the crowd needs to be blistering loud.

Even if the Cowboys go no-where this season, a victory against the Eagles would be my Super Bowl.

Struck me tho, that we now sound like Skins fans, for whom beating us in their Big Dance.

I just hope when that Skins re-match rolls round in December, our sites haven't fallen that low. ;)

Nice to be compared to a Skins fan. Thanks. But if you re-read what i said, i talked about the importance of this victory against a great team...doesn't matter it's the Eagles or not.

So far this season has been horrible. I hate the Eagles, i have not jumped on the Owens/McNabb *** kissing boat like Michael Irvin and others.

The whole "it's our Super Bowl" thing did rub me the wrong way, in that I viewed it as a defeatist statement and that it's often what you hear teams that have no tradition saying. But I didn't mean to take it out on you... especially since your main concern is defeating the Eagles.

It's cool. I can't get into all these draft threads, new defensive coordinator crap...and whatever else. Just want to start talking about the Eagles game.

I think i am kindof seeing this game like the game where we upset the undefeated Redskins years ago, then beat the Eagles. Although we didn't make the playoffs that year...those games were building blocks for the next year.

Weeks ago i said that the Giants game was a Must Win. Just about everyone here said i was wrong...that we could lose that game and be ok. Well we lost that game and followed with two more. We had a great opportunity against the Bengals to salvage this season...this game against the Eagles is the final nail in our coffin if we lose.
