How is the new TV deal going to affect salary caps? Any idea?

It means the cap will continue to go up, for sure, and probably at a higher rate when the new deal kicks in than it has been during this one. The NFLPA is also trying to get additional things included in the revenue used to determine the cap, and it wants the players to get a higher percentage of the revenues, which will only make the cap even higher.

Wouldn't it be nice if they capped the salary one player could make. I think that's the greatest thing the NBA has done.

The NFL salary cap is by far much better than anything the NBA does. The NBA can limit what one player makes, but that player (or players) can still take up as much as 35% of the teams cap. And thats the problem. Have 2/3 players that think they deserve the max and you dont have any room to improve your team.

Maybe I'm missing something here and you could clarify it for me. The new contract is for less yearly dollars than the old contract. The old contract of 17.6B over 8 yrs gave the league 2.2/yr. The new contract is 8B over 6 yrs for 1.33/yr, so the league will have around 900 Million per year less to operate on than before.
How are the TV revenues used and distributed?
I also wonder how the soon to be skyrocketing inflation rates are going to affect things.
The only known certainty is that I'm not going to get any of the money.
