Beyond Ben griping about Biden and the very cool story about how he drove home every day to be with his sons after his wife's untimely passing, you hear almost nothing about him. He didn't seem to generate any discussion at all beyond the typical "great choice" by the Dem side, and "stupid choice" by the GOP side.

You don't really hear a lot about McCain either. Certainly more than Biden given the positions they hold, but in comparison to Obama not anywhere near as much.

Palin has generated a flood of interest and it seems like there is a lot of passion on both sides. Especially in this forum.

The two cranky old guys with the experience are getting drubbed by the young, interesting, inexperienced upstarts.

Kind of cool actually.

Rasmussen did a poll that backs this up. They asked which candidate would you most like to meet. The results?

Obama 43%
Palin 30%
McCain 17%
Biden 6%

People have been debating the strengths and weaknesses of McCain and, to a lesser extent, Biden, for over a decade. It's no longer fresh.

I figure if the poll was all men, it would go 90% Palin, 100% if she were in a black nighty
