Listen I LOVE HD - LOVE IT , and I've had DirecTV for almost 10 years now and have 3 HD TV"s.

However - their EXTRA HD charge for the NFL is a slap in the face and once I just called and canceled. I mean almost $20 extra a month for HD?

Terrible customer service.

I'm surprised they didn't offer it at no additional charge...

No doubt, I always call and complain and get it for free. I find it amazing anyone actually pays for Superfan.

Ditto. I told them I'm already paying for Sunday Ticket, already paying for HD access, why should I have to pay again for both? They threw in three free months of HBO as well.

I just called and they gave me some crap about having to pay the networks additional money for airing in HD. I got 80 dollars credit and HBO, SHO, and Starz free for 6 mos.

On the plus side, the Game Mix channel is in HD this year so I can actually make out what's going on in the 8 games.

Ditto II. I've never paid for it. I always complain and they give you a deal.
