the cowboys are going to make the playoffs this year, i dont know why i am thinking this, is it b/c im crazy or i just have hope yet for this year...but..i just think that the cowboys will win ONE game versus philly this year, i dont know why, but its a gut feeling...then they play the ravens, they have a darn good defense but a very crappy offense, all we have to stop is jamal lewis, and that is accomplishable (?)...we should put up more than 15 points that game to beat the ravens, at least i hope so...

then the bears, well it is just the bears and thats why well win, even tho we lost to the bungles, the cowboys have gotten a lotta criticism this week and are gonna use that and become very fiery the second half of the season...

next, the hawks', the cowboys will lose this game, the hawks really have a pretty complete team, they need to upgrade their defense a lil bit tho....

now, the saints...the saints have a good offense but have a horrid secondary this year, actually a pretty bad defense, the pass crazy VT (assuming hell still be in there)...will have a good game...

then philly again--just well lose this game....pretty badly i think

next, the skins'...the cowboys own the skins' they get extremely pumped up for these games..cowboys will be playing better D by now and keep them under 10 points...

finally, the giants--the g-men have lost their 2 starting defensive ends, and that hurts the defense big time, im thinking , they will fall in the second half of the season, winning 3-4 games...cowboys will be able to run the ball against them with JJ and RL rushing instead of EG...

im predicting the boys' record will end up 9-7...right now the NFC is a very close race and i think 9-7 will get in...im just hoping im true...opinions?

You are crazy. The Ravens probably have no offense, but how are we going to slow down their offense if we can't even slow down Carson Palmer (league's lowest QB rating until we played them) and Rudi Johnson?

Sorry, but we're serving up turnovers to the other team on a silver platter while creating absolutey NILL! The playoff picture left the building when Vinny and Eddie took over.

It is possible for the Cowboys to turn things around and make the playoffs, but most teams that turn things around in the second half tend to be very tenacious. And I just to do see that in this squad. In fact going back for almost the last year (Thanksgiving game vs the Dolphins) it seem like this team is the opposite. They are more likely to roll over than to battle. Thus that is why instead of losing close games they have been getting beaten pretty soundly when they do lose. I just do not see alot of fight in this team. Soooooo......

Can they? Yes
Will they? All signs point to No

Yeah, now you're gettin the jist of it. Welcome back! :D

And I think we all now know why you support JJT, and think he did nothing wrong, because like him, you have to come back with a smart **s remark. LOL You love to keep the embers burning don't ya? Typical.

Anything`s possible I suppose but it`s unlikely. However, VT`s no stranger to this kind of situation.

A couple yrs. ago, the Jets started out the season horribly and were 1-2 after 3 games and 3-3 thru 6 games. They`d just got done playing lifeless, terrible football in a 34-14 beating administered by the Rams in that 6th game. Then, VT, Martin, the def., Coach Edwards and Co., etc., suddenly turned the team completely around. They suddenly played very well, winning 4 in a row and 7 of their last 10 against mostly tough teams! This was good enough to finish 10-6 and make the Playoffs!!

But one of the biggest differences here is that the Jet off. didn`t have a bunch of injuries like the current Dal. off. They had a running game with Curtis Martin and VT had way more than just 2 proven, reliable pass-catchers to throw to, etc! Imho, all the injuries on off. are one of the main reasons it`s very unlikely that Dal. will make the Playoffs.

I'll take a hit of whatever you are doing. I dont think this team with the way they are playing even gets 3 more wins. Although with the state of the nfc this year that might get a wild card. Wouldnt that be a joke.

You bet.

I was telling LaTuna, that the frost is as thick as a thin layer of snow in places.

Last night my daughter was suppose to sleep outside up at the high school as part of the school's awareness/fundraiser for the homeless... She never collected her $40 to earn the priviledge of sleeping outside in a box. She doesn't feel too bad about that this morning. :)

We would have to win at least 6 games to even have a chance, and probably get to 10 wins to do it.

I don't see it happening.

This was a team that overachieved last year, and is still several pieces away from being a "player" year in and year out.

You can bytch about coaching (the Zimmer bashing is nonsense) all you want, but this team is not as talented as we thought and the injuries killed us.

With that said, I'm still holding out hope. If we can get to .500 by the end of the year, I'll consider that a success.

Yikes!

You know it's cold out when the grass breaks when you step on it.

I have a 15k race I have to run in tomorrow in Schenectady. That'll be fun.

Hell of a Fall though huh?

Well I always hated when the frost was like that 3am you are all snug in you OD green sleeping bag and you wake up and you have to pee so bad but you know how cold the ground is and you do not want to get out of that sleeping bag and you are so tired you know from the 3 hours of sleep you are going on. Yet you jump out barefooted and sprint to the nearest tree hoping around. Because you where to tired and lazy to try and put your boots on.

and Mikew having to pay $40 bucks for that um that would sux rlmao
